Provided are a method of producing a beverage and a method of improving a flavor of a beverage by each of which the imparting of an undesirable aroma is suppressed. The method of producing a beverage according to one embodiment of the present invention is a method of producing a beverage using a raw material liquid, including adding hops that have been subjected to acid treatment to the raw material liquid. The method of improving a flavor of a beverage according to one embodiment of the present invention is a method of improving a flavor of a beverage to be produced using a raw material liquid, including adding hops that have been subjected to acid treatment to the raw material liquid, to thereby improve the flavor of the beverage.

Method for producing beverage and method for improving flavor of beverage

A laser printer or like electrostatic recording apparatus of the type developing an electrostatic latent image provided on a photoconductive drum by toner which is conveyed by a developing roller. Various devices of the apparatus including the photoconductive drum and developing roller are separated into an upper and a lower unit which are openable away from each other. A photoconductive drum assembly including the photoconductive element and a developing assembly including the developing roller are individually detachable from a body of the apparatus. Various measures are taken to enhance stable and safe operation, miniaturization, easy maintenance, operability, service life, and image quality.

The present facsimile machine comprises a system control unit, including a pair of central processing units (CPU's), and main and auxiliary power supplies. In one embodiment of the present invention, the second (slave) CPU receives power from the auxiliary power supply to constantly monitor the facsimile system. Upon receipt of a predetermined signal, the second CPU causes the main power supply turned on to render the first (master) CPU operative, thereby the second CPU becomes functionally dependent upon the first CPU. In another embodiment of the present invention, various functions of the facsimile machine are shared by the two CPU's. That is, one CPU is directed to control the communication-related functions with the other CPU directed to control the mechanism-related functions.

The codes are fed through a character generator (29) to produce data signals in the facsimile line scan format which are stored in a mass storage such as a magnetic tape unit (32). The signals are fed from the mass storage (32) to a printer (14) of the facsimile transceiver (11) for reproduction when desired.

An abnormality indication system of a facsimile apparatus comprises a pattern generator, disposed in the facsimile apparatus on the reception side, which is capable of producing image element information indicating the abnormality of the facsimile apparatus when the facsimile apparatus is hung up and which applies the abnormality indicating information to a plotter of the facsimile apparatus, instead of an original image information so far applied to the plotter. The abnormality indicating information is written on a recording sheet by the plotter and the recording sheet is then discharged from the plotter.
