A soft magnetic alloy has a main component of Fe. The soft magnetic alloy contains P. A Fe-rich phase and a Fe-poor phase are contained. An average concentration of P in the Fe-poor phase is 1.5 times or larger than an average concentration of P in the soft magnetic alloy by number of atoms.

There is provided a soft magnetic alloy comprising a composition expressed by a formula of (FeA)MXY, in which M represents at least one selected from the group consisting of Zr and Hf, X represents at least one selected from the group consisting of Ni, Mn, Cu, Co, Al, and Ge, Y represents at least one selected from the group consisting of B, P, and Si, A represents at least one selected from the group consisting of Ti, V, Cr, Zn, Mg, Sn, Bi, O, N, S, and a rare earth element, m, x, y, and α satisfy relationships of 0.070≤m≤0.120, 0.001≤x≤0.030, 0≤y≤0.010, and 0≤α≤0.100, and the alloy contains Fe-based nanocrystals having an average crystal grain size of 30 nm or less.

A soft magnetic alloy comprising a main component having a compositional formula of ((FeX1X2)MBCr)C, and a sub component including P, S and Ti, wherein X1 is selected from the group Co and Ni, X2 is selected from the group Al, Mn, Ag, Zn, Sn, As, Sb, Bi and rare earth elements, 'M' is selected from the group Nb, Hf, Zr, Ta, Mo, W and V, 0.030&#x2264;a&#x2264;0.14, 0.005&#x2264;b&#x2264;0.20, 0&#x3c;c&#x2264;0.040, 0&#x2264;d&#x2264;0.040, &#x3b1;&#x2265;0, &#x3b2;&#x2265;0, and 0&#x2264;&#x3b1;+&#x3b2;&#x2264;0.50 are satisfied, when soft magnetic alloy is 100 wt %, P is 0.001 to 0.050 wt %, S is 0.001 to 0.050 wt %, and Ti is 0.001 to 0.080 wt %, and when a value obtained by dividing P by S is P/S, then P/S satisfies 0.10&#x2264;P/S&#x2264;10.

A soft magnetic alloy includes a composition of (FeX1X2)MTiBPSiSC. X1 is one or more of Co and Ni. X2 is one or more of Al, Mn, Ag, Zn, Sn, As, Sb, Cu, Cr, Bi, N, O, and rare earth elements. A soft magnetic alloy contains a main component having a composition formula of (FeX1X2)MBPCand auxiliary components including at least Ti, Mn and Al. In the composition formula, X1 is one or more selected from the group consisting of Co and Ni, X2 is one or more selected from the group consisting of Ag, Zn, Sn, As, Sb, Bi and a rare earth element, and M is one or more selected from the group consisting of Nb, Hf, Zr, Ta, Mo, W and V. A soft magnetic alloy which includes nanocrystal parts and amorphous parts is provided. The nanocrystal parts include &#x3b1;Fe(&#x2014;Si) as a main component, and include at least one of elements selected from B, P, C, Ti, Zr, Hf, Nb, Ta, Mo, V, W, Cr, Al, Mn, Zn, and Cu as a sub-component. An average of C content ratio of the Fe-poor grids having cumulative frequency of 90% or more from lower C content is 5.0 times or more to an average of C content ratio of the whole soft magnetic alloy.
