A map creation device includes a simple-ground-information creating unit, an on-ground-structure-information creating unit, and a map-information creating unit. The simple-ground-information creating unit creates, based on the ground object, a simple ground object expressing the three-dimensional shape with less amount of data than the ground object. The on-ground-structure-information creating unit creates, based on the simple ground object, an on-ground-structure object expressing a three-dimensional shape of an on-ground structure that is present on a surface of the ground by adding height information to a two-dimensional on-ground-structure object expressing a two-dimensional shape of the on-ground structure. The map-information creating unit creates map information in which the on-ground-structure object is superimposed on the ground object.

A ground object is arranged so that it overlaps with a cylindrical object. Inside the cylindrical object, foot data of the ground object is arranged. Since the foot data on the side of a fore-end opening is positioned behind a fore-end face object with respect to view point coordinates, hidden surface removal is carried out for an image of the foot data on the side of the fore-end opening viewed from the view point coordinates by a Z value of a transparent drawn image of the fore-end face object.

Plotting method, plotting program, and plotting equipment

An image generating apparatus () is provided with: a drawing application processor () for indicating a drawing device () to generate a 3D image; and a graphics library (). The drawing application processor separates information to generate the image into coordinate transformation information and drawing object information and generates both with two independent generating devices respectively, and the graphics library stores and manages these information. The drawing device generates the 3D image on the basis of these stored and managed information and outputs it to a display device. The drawing object information is prepared for a broader area than the area of a field of view corresponding to the 3D image to be displayed this time.

Image generating apparatus, image generating method, and computer program

An image generating apparatus () is provided with: a drawing application processor () for indicating a drawing device () to draw a 3D image; and a graphics library (). The drawing application processor is provided with a drawing object information generation device for generating drawing object information to draw an image; and a coordinate transformation information generation device for generating coordinate transformation information. The drawing device generates the 3D image by applying the coordinate transformation information to the drawing object information. An identifier is set to the coordinate transformation information. When the drawing device generates the 3D image, the coordinate transformation information is identified with the identifier.

A picture generating apparatus () is provided with: a drawing application processor () for instructing a drawing device () to generate a 3D image; and a graphics library (). The drawing application processor is provided with a drawing object information generation device for generating drawing object information to generate an image; and a coordinate transformation information generation device for generating coordinate transformation information. The drawing device generates the 3D image by applying the coordinate transformation information to the drawing object information. Consequently, this ensures the high-speed generation of the image and the ability of replacement of the drawing device.

An audio information reproducing apparatus (NS) is provided with: a memory (HD) for storing audio information comprising a plurality of unit information, such as a plurality of music compositions; a transmitting device (HO) for transmitting correspondence information, such as music list information or the like, corresponding to each of the plurality of the unit information to an external portion; an obtaining device (HO) for obtaining reproduction control information to control a reproduction manner of each of the plurality of unit information from the external portion, the reproduction control information being generated on the basis of the transmitted correspondence information; and a controlling device () for reproducing the plurality of unit information from the memory while controlling the reproduction manner of each of the plurality of unit information in accordance with the obtained reproduction control information.

A line interpolation apparatus, which converts an interlaced scanning image signal into a progressive scanning image signal, wherein the interlaced scanning image signal is obtained by decoding a signal, for which image compression has been performed by using a motion vector that represents the direction and the distance moved in an image; and wherein, as a line interpolation section, a line interpolation method is determined by using both information obtained from the motion vector and information obtained from differences between a pixel to be interpolated and pixels that, in image fields aligned with the time axis of and preceding and succeeding the image field in which the pixel to be interpolated is located, spatially occupy positions corresponding to that of the pixel to be interpolated.
