A display substrate, a manufacturing method thereof and a display device are provided. The display substrate includes: a base substrate, a display region disposed on the base substrate, and a peripheral region disposed at a periphery of the display region, and the peripheral region is provided with a filling area recessed toward the base substrate; the filling area is provided with an alignment mark and a filling material; and the filling material is configured for filling the filling area. The filling material is provided in filling the filling area of the display substrate, to reduce or eliminate a segment difference at the filling area, and further to avoid the incorrect alignment of liquid crystal molecules caused by the segment difference in the rubbing process, and finally to avoid poor display due to uneven display of a display panel in the working process.

A method for detecting an alignment film coated on a substrate of a liquid crystal panel comprises: obtaining an image of an alignment film test region of a substrate; and analyzing continuity of the alignment film along an internal boundary of the alignment film test region in the image obtained. since the alignment film test region is located outside an active display area of the substrate, when the alignment film along the internal boundary of the alignment film test region is determined as continuous, it can be determined that all the edges of the alignment film are outside the active display area, then a Haro region which might appear on the edge of the alignment film may also be located outside the active display area, so as to ensure uniform thickness of the alignment film in the active display area of the substrate.

Method for detecting alignment film and device for the same

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for producing a masterboard alignment film, and a transfer printing plate and an alignment solution. The method comprises coating the alignment solution on a masterboard having two or more substrates using the transfer printing plate which has a transfer region simultaneously covering the two or more substrates, so that the alignment solution forms an alignment film on the masterboard; and removing the alignment film on the masterboard which is located in regions that are out of the display regions of the substrates and where there is no need to retain the alignment film. This method can solve the existing display defect issues that are caused by too thick peripheral regions of the alignment film, and the overlapping of the too thick peripheral regions of the alignment film with the sealant region.

Method for producing masterboard alignment film and transfer printing plate and alignment solution

An alignment film printing device, configured to improve coating quality of an alignment film, includes at least one printing unit, and the printing unit each includes: a cylinder body with an opening at a bottom and an extract opening on a top; a vacuum extractor connected with the extract opening; a plunger provided inside the cylinder body, and configured to draw the alignment fluid from the opening to the cylinder body; a vacuum tester provided at the extract opening and configured to monitor a vacuum degree inside the cylinder body and above the plunger; a range finder provided inside the cylinder body and configured to monitor a distance from the plunger to a top of the cylinder body; and a control device in signal communication with the vacuum extractor, the vacuum tester and the range finder respectively and configured to control a volume of the alignment fluid drawn into the cylinder body according to test values of the vacuum tester and the range finder.

In addition, the liquid crystal panel further comprises: a liquid crystal buffer region, located at the outer side of the first sealant; a liquid crystal channel, through which the liquid crystal buffer region and the liquid crystal panel display region are connected; and a covering layer, covering at least a position where the liquid crystal channel connects with the liquid crystal panel display region.
