A data management system (DMS) may use a staggered full snapshot rollout approach to obtain full snapshots of multiple computing objects. The DMS may identify that a quantity of the multiple objects scheduled for full backups by the DMS exceeds a threshold quantity. The DMS may initiate, at a first time, and based on the quantity of objects exceeding the threshold quantity, a first set of full snapshots corresponding to a first subset of objects included in the multiple objects. The DMS may initiate, at a second time subsequent to the first time, a second set of full snapshots corresponding to a second subset of objects included in the multiple objects. The second subset of objects may be different than the first subset of objects. The DMS may continue to obtain full snapshots of respective subsets of the multiple objects until all of the scheduled full snapshots are obtained.

Obtaining full snapshots for subsets of objects over time

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and software for vector graphics object handling in computing environments are provided herein. In one example, an object handling service for a user application is provided that identifies an object in a scalable vector graphics format for import into the user application, parses a description of the object in the scalable vector graphics format to determine shape components that comprise the object, and iterates through each of the shape components to generate freeform shape primitives that recreates the object into a native object description of the user application.

Vector graphics handling processes for user applications

The Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) standard defines a way to describe two-dimensional graphics within the extensible markup language (XML) that can be interpreted by multiple programs. The SVG standard, however, lacks native support for several user experience features, such as look and feel settings (e.g., themes) that affect multiple objects within a document. The present disclosure, however, teaches how an SVG object may be made theme-aware and still comply with the SVG standard so that it is portable between files and applications that apply the present disclosure and those that do not. By enabling the dynamic updating of SVG objects, the benefits to the user experience and computer efficiency associated with standardized vector graphics and the document-wide application of look and feel settings can be realized without deviating from the SVG standard.

Dynamically formatting scalable vector graphics

An image rendering system having an image rendition module to determine formats of an image and a rendering theme and in response to these formats meeting a predetermined condition, parse the image into a plurality of image components and display at least one of the plurality of image components with a fill color as a background color of the rendering theme and with an alternate color of the rendering theme as an outline color of the at least one component.
