A remote unit includes: an optical module configured to receive a signal from an access unit communicatively connected to the remote unit; a power distribution module connected to the optical module and configured to divide the signal received from the optical module into a first component and a second component, the second component having a working band different from that of the first component; a first low noise and high-power amplifier connected to the power distribution module and configured to process the first component; and a second low noise and high-power amplifier connected to the power distribution module and configured to process the second component.

Remote unit, multi-band distributed system and signal processing method

A distributed antenna system comprises: a plurality of ports configured to receive downstream signals or transmit upstream signals; a plurality of first antennas configured to transmit the downstream signals or receive the upstream signals; a power regulating unit coupled between the plurality of ports and the plurality of first antennas and configured to transfer and regulate the downstream signals or the upstream signals, wherein the power regulating unit comprises: a plurality of first links respectively corresponding to different frequency bands, and a first power regulating section configured to regulate power of link signals transferred over each first link, such that link signals of different frequency bands transferred over the plurality of first links have substantially the same power. The solution of the present disclosure can support input of signals at multiple frequency bands, achieve power balance and improve system performance and wireless coverage effects.

Distributed antenna system

A distributed antenna system comprises a first access unit and a remote unit, wherein the first access unit and the remote unit are coupled via an analog optical fiber, and the first access unit comprises: a first port configured to receive a first downlink analog radio frequency signal; a first analog-to-digital conversion unit configured to perform analog-to-digital conversion on the first downlink analog radio frequency signal to generate a first downlink digital signal; a first digital processing unit configured to perform digital signal processing on the first downlink digital signal to generate a second downlink digital signal; a first digital-to-analog conversion unit configured to perform digital-to-analog conversion on the second downlink digital signal to generate a second downlink analog radio frequency signal; and an analog optical module configured to perform electro-optical conversion on the second downlink analog radio frequency signal to generate a first downlink analog optical signal.
