A display substrate, a method for driving the same and a display device are provided. The display substrate includes a gate driving circuit, the gate driving circuit includes a plurality of shift register units, the shift register unit includes a pull-up node, a pull-down node and a pull-up control sub-circuit; the pull-up control sub-circuit includes: a first dual-gate transistor, a first gate electrode of the first dual-gate transistor and a second gate electrode of the first dual-gate transistor being respectively coupled to the pull-down node, a first electrode of the first dual-gate transistor being coupled to the pull-up node, and a second electrode of the first dual-gate transistor being coupled to a first level signal input terminal.
