The method includes: a terminal device receives precoded reference signals from a network device, where the precoded reference signals are obtained by precoding reference signals based on K angle vectors; and generates and sends first indication information, where the first indication information is used to indicate P weighting coefficients corresponding to P angle-delay pairs, the P weighting coefficients are determined based on the precoded reference signals, each of the P angle-delay pairs includes one angle vector and one delay vector corresponding to the angle vector, a delay vector corresponding to each angle vector is preconfigured, each angle vector and the delay vector corresponding to each angle vector are obtained through uplink channel measurement, and the P angle-delay pairs and the P weighting coefficients corresponding to the P angle-delay pairs are used to determine a precoding matrix.

Channel measurement method and communications apparatus

This application provides a channel measurement method and a communications apparatus. The method includes: A terminal device generates first indication information and sends the first indication information to a network device, where the first indication information is determined based on received precoded reference signals of P ports and is used to indicate Q ports in the P ports; the P ports correspond to P angle-delay pairs; each angle-delay pair includes one angle vector and one delay vector; the precoded reference signal of each of the P ports is obtained by precoding a reference signal based on one angle vector and one delay vector; and the Q ports correspond to Q angle-delay pairs in the P angle-delay pairs.

Example channel measurement methods and communications apparatus are described. One example method includes receiving a precoded reference signal by a terminal device, where the precoded reference signal is obtained by precoding a reference signal based on K angle vectors and L delay vectors. First indication information is generated and sent, where the first indication information indicates P weighting coefficients corresponding to P angle-delay pairs. The P weighting coefficients are determined by using the precoded reference signal. The P angle-delay pairs and the P weighting coefficients corresponding to the P angle-delay pairs are used to determine a precoding matrix. Each angle-delay pair includes one of the K angle vectors and one of the L delay vectors. The K angle vectors and the L delay vectors are determined based on uplink channel measurement.

Example channel measurement methods and communications apparatus are described. One example method includes receiving a precoded reference signal by a terminal device, where the precoded reference signal is obtained by precoding a reference signal based on K angle vectors and L delay vectors. First indication information is generated and sent, where the first indication information is used to indicate P weighting coefficients corresponding to P angle-delay pairs. The P weighting coefficients are determined by using the precoded reference signal. The P angle-delay pairs and the P weighting coefficients corresponding to the P angle-delay pairs are used to determine a precoding matrix. Each angle-delay pair includes one of the K angle vectors and one of the L delay vectors. The K angle vectors and the L delay vectors are determined based on uplink channel measurement.

One example method includes receiving one or more precoded reference signals, where the one or more precoded reference signals are obtained by precoding one or more reference signals based on K angle vectors. First indication information can then be generated, where the first indication information is used to indicate at least one delay vector and P weighting coefficients corresponding to P angle-delay pairs, the at least one delay vector and the P weighting coefficients are determined based on the one or more precoded reference signals, each of the P angle-delay pair includes one of the K angle vectors and one of the at least one delay vector, and the P angle-delay pairs and the P weighting coefficients are used to determine a precoding matrix, where P and K are positive integers, and where P&#x2265;1, K&#x2265;1. The first indication information can then be sent.

This application provides methods and apparatuses for precoding vector indication and determination. One method includes: generating, by a first communications device, first indication information that indicates one or more port selection vectors, one or more frequency domain vectors, and one or more linear combination coefficients, wherein each of the one or more linear combination coefficients corresponds to a port selection vector and a frequency domain vector, each of the one or more port selection vectors indicates a port of a precoded reference signal, and each of the one or more frequency domain vectors indicates a variation pattern of a channel in a frequency domain; and sending the first indication information to a second communications device.

Precoding vector indication method, precoding vector determining method, and communications apparatus

The invention relates a user communication device for cellular communication with a base station and D2D communication with at least one user communication device. The user communication device comprises: a communication interface configured for cellular communication with the base station and D2D communication via a D2D communication channel between the user communication device and the user communication device, the D2D communication with the further user communication device comprises receiving channel state information from the further communication device, the channel state information comprises channel state information of a cellular communication channel between the further user communication device and the base station; and a processor configured to adapt a feedback vector on the basis of a quality measure of the D2D communication channel between the further user communication device and the user communication device and to provide information about the adapted feedback vector via the communication interface to the base station.
