A device for realizing the splicing of an array fiber and a large-size quartz end cap comprises a carbon dioxide laser, a light splitter, a light beam shaper, a high reflectivity mirror, an image detection module, an array fiber and a carrier thereof, a large-size quartz end cap and a carrier thereof, a stepping motor, a thermodetector, and a computer; a laser beam emitted by the carbon dioxide laser is divided into two light beams through a light splitter, after the two light beams respectively pass through the beam shaper and the high reflectivity mirror, two strip-shaped light spots with uniform power density are integrally formed to heat a splicing face of the large-size quartz end cap, a uniform temperature field of a target splicing area is achieved through indirect heating and heat conduction.

Device and method for splicing array optical fiber with large-size quartz end cap

A connector assembly includes a connector and a fixing device. The connector has a housing, a ferrule mounted in the housing, and a rear body inserted into a rear end of the housing. The fixing device is connected to the rear body of the connector. The fixing device has a fixture formed in a single integrated piece. The fixture includes a connection part located at a front end of the fixture and configured to be connected to the rear body of the connector and a flexible protection part disposed adjacent to the connection part and configured to protect a cable passing therethrough.

Connector assembly

An electrical connector adapted to be electrically connected with a cable includes a fixing assembly, an insulation body, and a conductive terminal overmolded in the insulation body. The fixing assembly includes a receiving portion extending in an axial direction of the electrical connector. An end of the cable is inserted into the receiving portion from a first end of the receiving portion. The insulation body extends from a second end of the receiving portion. The conductive terminal includes a mounting portion mounted in the insulation body and a contact portion extending out of the insulation body. The mounting portion is electrically connected with a conductor of the cable by a bolt member.

Insulating connector for an electrical cable

A cable fixing apparatus adapted to be fixed to an end of a cable includes a first sleeve having a first thread portion at a first end of the first sleeve, a second sleeve having a bottom portion with a through hole at first end of the second sleeve, and a clamp mechanism disposed in the second sleeve between the first thread portion of the first sleeve and the bottom portion of the second sleeve. The cable is inserted into the second sleeve and the first sleeve through the through hole in an insertion direction. The second sleeve is threaded onto the first thread portion at a second end of the second sleeve. The clamp mechanism clamps the cable in response to an engagement of the second end of the second sleeve to the first thread portion to prevent the cable from moving in the first sleeve and the second sleeve.

Cable fixing apparatus, cable connector and electrical device

A fiber optic connector comprises an outer housing, an inner housing installed in the outer housing, a fiber optic ferrule accommodated in the inner housing, an optical cable inserted into the inner housing and connected to the fiber optic ferrule, an elastic boot that is wrapped around both a connecting portion of the fiber optic ferrule connecting to the optical cable and a portion of the optical cable adjacent to the connecting portion, and a sealing structure. The sealing structure is disposed between a rear end portion of the outer housing and the elastic boot to provide a seal between the outer housing and the elastic boot.

Fiber optic connector

A connector that includes an outer housing having an assembly channel with a stopping step on an inner wall of thereof and an optical beam expanding module assembled with the assembly channel of the outer housing. The optical beam expanding module includes a rear seat, formed with a snap ring groove, in which a C-shaped snap ring is fitted. A cable having a strengthening element is fixed on a rear end portion of the rear seat. When the cable of the optical beam expanding module is pulled outwardly, the C-shaped snap ring abuts against the stopping step, so that a pulling force exerted on the cable is transferred to the outer housing through the strengthening element of the cable, instead of being transferred to an optical fiber of the cable, thus preventing the optoelectronic coupling end faces of the connector from being separated.

Connector

A connector assembly adapted to connect a plug to a communication device comprises a receptacle and a connection base. The receptacle is adapted to be fixed on a circuit board of the communication device and mated with the plug. The connection base is adapted to be fixed on a housing panel of the communication device. The connection base has a main body portion located outside the housing panel of the communication device and an insertion cavity adapted to receive at least a portion of the receptacle. The connection base is in thermal contact with the receptacle.

An optical beam expanding module that has a housing, a ferrule mounted in the housing, a cable extending into the housing, an optical fiber of the cable being received in an inner bore of the ferrule; and an optical lens mounted in the housing at a front end surface of the ferrule for expanding the diameter of a light beam output from the optical fiber. The optical beam expanding module is adapted to be assembled as a single component in any one of assembly channels in mounting bodies of different connectors. There is provided a standardized optical beam expanding module being adapted to be applied to different beam expanding connectors.

An apparatus and method for adjusting prism beam expander. The prism beam expander adjustment apparatus has a light source, a baseplate, a precise rotary stage, support columns, a two-dimensional slide stage, the first 90-degree bellcrank lever, an indication light source, the second 90-degree bellcrank lever, an optical filter, a photodetector, a computer, and an assembly platform. Incidence angles of all prisms of a prism beam expander can be precisely demarcated and designed beam magnification is obtained with the preferred adjustment methods. The parallel of the prisms can be guaranteed by monitoring the pitching of the prisms in the adjustment process. As a result, the linewidth narrowing and cavity losses decreasing can be improved by application of the fixed prism beam expander.
