A connection device with floatable self-adjusting contacts includes a first main body, a plurality of first and second contact point groups, a second main body, and a plurality of conducting boards (pin boards). The first and second contact groups are respectively disposed on the first and second bodies. The floating board is disposed on the second main body in a floating manner. The conducting board has an insulated main body and a plurality of conducting pins which are disposed on the insulated main body in a floating manner. The conducting pin has a first conducting portion contacting the first contact point, and a second conduct portion contacting the second contact point. The first and second conduct portions respectively have an arc-shaped periphery and an elastic arm. The conducting pins can respectively self-adjust to achieve an optimal downward contacting pressure.

Connection device with floatable self-adjusting contacts and connecting method thereof

A connector with high contact density includes interior casing, first contact set, exterior casing, second contact set, and conducting element. The interior casing has a plug portion and a first slope. The first contact set is disposed in the first slope of the interior casing, and the first contact set has a plurality of first contact points. A containing space is formed inside the exterior casing, and the containing space is formed with a second slope, a second contact set is disposed in the second slope and has a plurality of second contact points. A conducting element includes an insulating main body and connecting terminals. The connecting terminals are disposed in the insulating main body and exposed to the exterior and interior of the insulating main body. The plug portion inserts into the containing space, so the first contact points contact the second contact points by the connecting terminals.

An electrical connector module for electrically connecting at least one connector to a printed circuit board of an electronic device includes at least one shielding jack having a top wall, two opposite side walls and at least one common wall. The walls of the shielding jack collectively define at least a slot therewithin for receiving the connectors and a front end and an opposite rear end. The slot is divided by the common wall. The side walls and the common wall have a plurality of press fit terminals extending toward the circuit board. The common wall has a plurality of offset latch arms engaged with different connectors. When the connectors are inserted to the slots, the offset latch arms respectively secure the connectors in the corresponding slots.

Electrical connector module

A pluggable self locking connector includes a socket having a socket case and a plug having a plug shell and a snap fit portion coupled thereto. The socket case is formed with a depression on the inner wall. The outer wall of the snap fit portion is formed with a deformable resilient rib and a bump. The plug shell is formed with an opening for receiving the resilient rib and a resilient latch corresponding to the bump. The front end of the plug shell has a resilient positioning member. When the socket and plug mate, the resilient rib slides into the depression. When the socket and the plug separate, the resilient rib is confined within the depression and the resilient latch and the bump are engaged. The front end of the snap fit portion presses the resilient positioning member and the resilient positioning member is partially exposed.

Pluggable self locking connector

A small form-factor pluggable (SFP) connector structure is disclosed. The SFP connector structure comprises an insulating body, a plurality of first terminals, a plurality of second terminals, and a metal cover. Two card entry slots are formed vertically on the insulating body. Dovetail structures are formed on the sides of the insulating body. The first and second terminals are disposed on the insulating body and extend into the card entry slots. The metal cover is over the insulating body. Thus, the SFP connectors can be connected in parallel without tolerance variation, hence achieving better alignment. A SFP connector assembly is also disclosed.

Small form-factor pluggable (SFP) connector structure and assembly thereof

A power source terminal structure includes an insertion terminal and a docking terminal. The insertion terminal has a main body and a contacting portion. The contacting portion is formed by extending from one end of the main body. The contacting portion is provided with a first protrusion. The docking terminal has a base and two elastic arms. The two elastic arms clamp the main body. The base is provided with a second protrusion opposite perpendicular to the first protrusion. The second protrusion contacts the first protrusion. Via this arrangement, the contact area between the insertion terminal and the docking terminal can be increased, and the reliability of the connector for transmitting the electric current and signals can be increased. Thus, the electric current is more stable.

Power source terminal structure

A press-fit power connector includes a female terminal base, a plurality of female power terminals and a plurality of female signal terminals. The female power terminals and the female signal terminals are mounted on the female terminal base. Each female power terminal has a terminal contacting portion, a fixing portion, and a pin portion. The terminal contacting portion has an end hole and a clamp slot on one end, and the end hole connects with the clamp slot. The fixing portion is formed by extending the other end of the terminal contacting portion and has at least one borehole. The pin portion is formed by bending and extending one end of the fixing portion which is far away from the terminal contacting portion and has an eye of needle. Based on the above structure, the present invention can improve the yield of products and reduces manufacturing costs.
