An LED lamp includes a base, a first LED module attached to a bottom surface of the base, a second LED module attached to a top surface of the base, and a reflector engaged on the top surface of the base. The reflector has an outer surface facing and angled with the second LED module. Light generated by the first LED module radiates to a bottom side of the LED lamp, and light generated by the second LED module is reflected by the outer surface of the reflector to radiate out and toward a lateral side of the LED lamp.

LED lamp

An LED lamp includes an LED and a lens covering thereon. The LED has an optical axis. The lens includes a light incidence surface adjacent to the LED and a light emission surface opposite to the light incidence surface. A first imaginary plane and a second imaginary plane intersect at the optical axis of the LED, the light emission surface of the lens is symmetric about the first and second imaginary planes, respectively. In the first imaginary plane, light emitted from the light emission surface distribute regions which a light emitting angle of the LED lamp ranges from 0&#xb0; to about 45&#xb0;. In the second imaginary plane, light emitted from the light emission surface distribute regions which a light emitting angle of the LED lamp ranges from 0&#xb0; to about 75&#xb0;.

LED lamp incorporating an elongated lens used for directing emitted light within a predetermined range of angles

An LED module includes an LED having a central axis I, and a lens. The lens has an incident face for incidence of the light of the LED and an opposite emitting face for refracting the light of the LED out of the lens. The emitting face of the lens has a central axis II. The central axis II is offset from the central axis I and located at one side of a plane ZOX of an XYZ coordinate with an original O which is located at a center of the LED, in which the central axis I is coincident with the Z axis. The light beams emitted from the one side of the plane ZOX are stronger than the light beams emitted from the another side of the plane ZOX after the light beams emitted from the LED pass through the lens.

LED module

An LED module includes an LED and a lens fixed with the LED for refracting light emitted by the LED. The lens has a center axis and a concaved inner face for incidence of the light and an opposite convex outer face for the light refracting out thereof. A peak intensity for light generated by the LED occurs within 52-67 degrees off the center axis when the light leaves the outer face.

An LED module includes an LED and a lens fixed with the LED for refracting light emitted by the LED. The lens has a center axis and a concaved inner face for incidence of the light and an opposite convex outer face for the light refracting out thereof. The lens is symmetric to a first plane and a second plane perpendicularly intersected with the first plane at the center axis. In the first plane, a peak intensity for the LED occurs within 68-78 degrees off the center axis. In the second plane, a peak intensity occurs within 0-22 degrees off the center axis.

An LED module comprises an LED having a first optical axis and a lens fixed over the LED for refracting light emitted from the LED. The lens comprises an emission surface having a second optical axis and an incidence surface having a third optical axis. The second optical axis of the emission surface offsets from the first optical axis of the LED in a first direction for increasing a light intensity at a side of the first optical axis in the first direction. The first, second and third optical axes are in a line along the first direction. The third optical axis offsets from the first optical axis of the LED at a side opposite to that of the second optical axis.

An LED illumination module includes a base, a plurality of first LEDs disposed on a top side of the base and a reflecting barrel disposed on the top side of the base. The first LEDs are disposed outside of the reflecting barrel, whereby light generated by the first LEDs is reflected by the reflecting barrel to illuminate a space below a bottom side of the base.

LED illumination module with large light emitting angle

An LED unit includes an LED and a lens receiving the LED. The LED includes a chassis, a base on the chassis and an envelope fixed on the base. The lens has two crossed grooves, a hole and a chamber sequentially defined in a bottom face the lens, along an upward direction thereof. The chassis of the LED can be selected to fit in one of the two grooves. The base of the LED is engaged in the hole of the lens, and the envelope of the LED is received in the chamber of the lens.

LED unit

An LED unit includes an LED having a first optical axis and a transparent envelope receiving the LED therein. The envelope is a cylinder inclined towards a lateral side. The envelope includes two concave surfaces respectively defined at a top and a bottom thereof, and a convex surface formed on the top thereof. The two concave surfaces have the same second optical axis and the convex surface has a third optical axis. The second and third optical axes are parallel to each other and angled with the first optical axis. The second and third optical axes are inclined towards the same lateral side as that the envelope is inclined toward. The two concave surfaces and the convex surface are all aspheric.

An LED module includes an LED and a lens covering the LED. The LED has an optical axis. The lens has an incident face for incidence of light of the LED into the lens and an opposite emitting face for refracting the light of the LED out of the lens. The emitting face has two elongated, ellipsoid lateral surfaces and a middle surface located between and connecting with the two ellipsoid lateral surfaces. The incident face has a sidewall and a ceiling connecting to a top of the sidewall. The middle surface of the emitting face and the ceiling of the incident face are corresponding to each other and inclined laterally relative to the optical axis of the LED.

An LED illumination module comprises a plurality of supporters each comprising a bottom plate and a lateral plate extending upwardly and slantwise from the bottom plate, an LED mounted on an outer surface of each of the lateral plates of the supporters, and a lens covering the LED. An inclined angle &#x3b8; of the lateral plate relative to the bottom plate and a light emitting angle &#x3c6; of the LED adjusted by the lens covering thereon meet a formula: &#x3b8;+&#x3c6;&#x3e;90&#xb0;.

An LED lighting module includes a base, a plurality of first LEDs disposed on a top side of the base, and a plurality of reflectors disposed on the top side of the base. The reflectors correspond to the first LEDs, respectively, whereby light generated by the first LEDs can illuminate an area to which a bottom side of the base faces. A plurality of second LEDs are disposed on the top side of the base and located within the reflectors.

LED lighting module with large light emitting angle

An LED light-emitting unit comprises an LED element having an optical axis and a reflector covering the LED element. The reflector comprises a light-reflecting unit recessed downwardly from a top surface of a top wall of the reflector and located corresponding to the LED element. The light-reflecting unit has a reflecting face comprising two curved faces intersecting with each other at two lines. The curved faces have axes intersecting with each other. A distance between two intersecting points of the two lines with a cross section of the reflector which is parallel to the top surface of the top wall of the reflector is larger than that between any other two intersecting points of the reflecting face intersecting with the cross section of the reflector.

Reflector and LED light-emitting unit using the same

An LED module includes an LED having an optic axis and a lens fixed over the LED for refracting light emitted by the LED. The lens has a same cross section along a front-to-rear direction thereof. The lens has an inner incidence surface facing the LED and an outer emission surface. The inner incidence surface is concave toward the emission surface. The emission surface has a middle part around the optic axis of the LED concave toward the incidence surface, and two convex lateral parts off the optic axis of the LED. A peak intensity for the light generated by the LED and penetrating through the lens occurs within the convex lateral parts of the emission surface.

An LED assembly includes a plurality of LED modules, a plurality of individual lenses and a pressing plate. Each LED module has a printed circuit board and a plurality of LEDs attached to the printed circuit board. Each lens covers a corresponding LED. Each lens includes a supporting base and a light adjusting portion disposed on the supporting portion. The pressing plate defines a plurality of through holes corresponding to the light adjusting portions of the lenses. The lenses cooperates with the LEDs. The light adjusting portions of the lenses extend through the through holes of the pressing plate. The pressing plate presses peripheral portions of the supporting bases towards the printed circuit boards of the LED modules.
