A detection apparatus of vital parameters on a steering wheel is provided. The apparatus includes a horn switch, remote control switches configured to operate devices within a vehicle and a vital signal detector configured to detect a vital signal of an operator. The vital signal detector includes a detection sensor that is configured to detect the vital signal of the operator and a photo sensor that is mounted on the remote control switch. Accordingly, the separate space for the assembling portion of the vital signal detector is not required and the volume of the apparatus and the number of components are reduced. The mountability and the aesthetics are improved.

A method of controlling an operation standby time of a driver convenience system installed in a vehicle using a control unit including a memory and a processor includes: setting a plurality of learning positions; generating a plurality of test cases based on a day of a week and a time associated with each of the plurality of set learning positions; receiving a plurality of sensor signals and a plurality of switch signals associated with the driver convenience system; generating a learned neural network algorithm by using a neural network algorithm to learn an operation standby time of each of the plurality of generated test cases based on the plurality of sensor signals and the plurality of switch signals associated with the driver convenience system; and determining an operation standby time of the driver convenience system at a current learning position using the learned neural network algorithm.

Method of controlling operation standby time of driver convenience system

An emergency braking system is provided and brakes a vehicle by more efficiently predicting forward collision. The emergency braking system includes an imaging device that identifies a forward obstacle and a sensor that senses an external environment and a driving state of a vehicle. A controller determines a road on which the vehicle is driven, determines a current driving environment case among a plurality of driving environment cases, using external environment information and road information and learns a driving pattern for the current driving environment case, using obstacle information and driving state information. Additionally, the controller variably adjusts warning and braking intervention timings using the learned driving pattern according to the driving environment cases.
