A service distribution method includes the steps of: firstly generating, by a management system, a corresponding configuration file from service information of a user, and sending the configuration file to an Optical Network Termination (ONT) of the user through an Optical Line Terminal (OLT); and then performing, by the ONT, corresponding configuration in accordance with the configuration file. A service distribution system and a management system are provided. The invention is applied to enable service distribution with good extendibility.

Service distribution method, device and system

A method, equipment, and operation management system for detecting and authenticating a terminal in a passive optical network are provided. The method includes the following steps. The terminal has a logic registration code. A central office end receives the logic registration code sent by the terminal. The central office end judges whether the logic registration code of the terminal matches with the logic registration code stored at the central office end, and determines that the terminal is a valid terminal if the logic registration code sent by the terminal matches with the logic registration code stored at the central office end. The central office end records a terminal serial number from the valid terminal, and records a terminal identifier assigned to the valid terminal. By using the provided method, equipment, and operation management system, it is unnecessary to statically configure the terminal SN at the central office end, such that the maintenance cost of the central office end and the terminal is lowered, the flexibility of terminal detection and authentication is improved, and the maintainability of the central office end and the terminal is also enhanced.

Method, equipment, and system for detecting and authenticating terminal in passive optical network

A method and apparatus for authentication in a passive optical network are disclosed. In the disclosure, a first terminal serial number of an ONU and a first logic registration code are transmitted from the ONU to an OLT; if the OLT determines that the first terminal serial number does not match a second terminal serial number stored on the OLT, the OLT judges whether the first logic registration code received from the ONU matches a second logic registration code stored on the OLT; the OLT stores the first terminal serial number received from the ONU on the OLT if the first logic registration code matches the second logic registration code.

Method and apparatus for authentication in passive optical network

The present disclosure discloses a method, wherein the method comprises generating a passive optical network (PON) protocol message, wherein the PON protocol message comprises an identifier of a PON user terminal and an action indication indicating that the PON user terminal intends to exercise a first power supply mode that is a power-saving mode. The present disclosure further provides a method for controlling the PON power supply and for reporting the power supply state. The present disclosure allows control of the energy usage of the PON user terminal to save power when a service in the PON user terminal is not used or when the user terminal uses a backup power source to supply power.

Passive optical network user terminal and method of power supply control and power supply state reporting for the same

A method and apparatus for authentication in a passive optical network are disclosed. In the disclosure, a PLOAM message is sent from an ONU to an OLT, where the PLOAM message includes a first field for carrying an ONU identifier (ONU-ID) and a second field for carrying a first logic registration code, where the ONU-ID is assigned by the OLT to identify the ONU and wherein the first logic registration code is assigned to a user by an operation management system communicatively connected to the OLT and provisioned to the user for authentication. The OLT is configured to judge whether the first logic registration code received from the ONU matches with a second logic registration code provisioned by the operation management system to the OLT and to promote the ONU into service if the first logic registration code matches with the second logic registration code.

The present disclosure discloses a passive optical network (PON) user terminal comprising a passive optical network interface unit (PONIU) having access to a PON system, a service data distribution unit (SDDU) connected to the PONIU for distributing service data, a plurality of service processing units (SPUs) for receiving and accordingly processing the service data distributed by the SDDU, a power source for providing power to the above units, and a power supply control unit (PSCU) for controlling the activating/deactivating of the energy-saving power supply to the SPUs, the SDDU, and the PONIU. A method for mapping a service flow to a service transmission channel includes: configuring determined configuration parameters for a message characteristic into an Optical Network Terminal (ONT); the ONT ensures that the received service flow matches the configured message characteristic; mapping the service flow to a specified service transmission channel. A system and an ONT for mapping the service flow to the service transmission channel are also provided, and the system sets a general service flow mapping module in the ONT. Service flows may be mapped to different service transmission channels based on any predetermined message characteristic by the method, system, and ONT of this invention and it meets the demand of the subdivision service QoS.
