A system of missile control surfaces includes a control surface housing, a control surface shaft which is rotatably mounted in the control surface housing, a control surface secured on the control surface shaft, a control surface drive and a coupling unit. The coupling unit couples the control surface drive to the control surface shaft in such a way that a movement of the control surface drive produces a rotation of the control surface shaft. To enable high forces to be applied reliably to a guided missile control surface, it is proposed that the coupling unit has at least one flexible tension element, which is secured on the control surface drive and is rolled up onto the control surface shaft to a certain extent.

System of missile control surfaces and method of assembling the system

A missile container has a container housing, a container roof, at least one canister for holding a missile which, in a storage position, is disposed on the container housing, and a movement mechanism for moving the canister from the storage position into an operating position. The elements arranged in the interior of the container housing are protected against external weather influences. In the operating position, the canister is held at least partially outside the container housing by the movement mechanism and the container roof is closed and shields a container interior against the outside.

Missile container and method of operating a missile container

A missile container has a container housing, one or a plurality of canisters stored therein for supporting a missile, and a movement mechanism for moving the canister from a storage position into an operating position. The missile container is efficiently transferred from a storage state into a combat state, in which the canister is in a combat-ready position for firing the missile, by providing a movement mechanism with a kinematic linkage for pivoting the canister.

A device for detecting attacking guided missiles with optical seeker head and for generating a laser beam directed to such guided missile has an all-around seeker with a detector responding to thermal radiation from the guided missile, and a laser which points to the guided missile detected by the all-around seeker. A roll and pitch gimbal system is provided. A roll gimbal is rotatable relative to the structure about a roll axis. A pitch gimbal is rotatable relative to the roll gimbal about a pitch axis orthogonal to the roll axis. The detector is structure-fixed. An imaging optical system is mounted on the roll and pitch gimbal system. The optical system with its optical axis can point to an object scenario. With each position of the gimbal system, an image of this object scenario is generated on the detector. The laser is also structure-fixed. A laser reflecting surface system is provided on the gimbal system, by means of which the laser beam is kept parallel to the optical axis of the imaging optical system, with each position of the gimbal system. Both the path of rays of the imaging optical system and the laser beam comprise a respective section extending along the pitch axis and a section extending along the roll axis.
