A parking lock device () for an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle. The parking lock device () comprises a locking pawl () that is fixed to the transmission housing and mounted so that the locking pawl () can pivot. The parking lock device () has a guiding element () and a guide plate () fixed to and supported by the housing in which the guide element () of the locking pawl () is guided laterally. One of a low-friction supporting element () and an electrically insulating supporting element in a form of an insulating body () laterally guides the locking pawl ().

Parking lock device for an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle

A gear set arrangement for a planetary transmission comprising at least first and second simple planetary gear sets, each having sun and ring gears and a carrier supporting planetary gears. The gear sets are coaxially nested with the first gear set being radially within the sun gear of the second gear set in a common radial plane or radial planes which are only slightly axially offset. The ring gear of the inner first gear set and the sun gear of the outer second gear set, and the carriers of the two gear sets, are coupled in a fixed manner. To avoid forced movement of the gears, only one of the sun gear, the ring gear or the carrier, of each of the first and the second gear sets is radially supported substantially free of radial play on a centrally disposed transmission shaft or with respect to a centered supported component.

Gear set arrangement of a planetary transmission

A planetary gear set lubricating unit which supplies oil from inside a component adjacent the planetary gear set, via a radial bore and an oil catcher, axially through a bore of a planetary gear bolt to planetary gear bearings. The oil catcher forms a ring-shaped chamber, which can be filled with lubricant, and is arranged beside the planetary carrier approximately over the reference diameter of the planetary bolt. The oil catcher has outlet pipes extending axially to direct oil in the chamber. The oil catcher has ovular radial protrusions arranged such that a maximum radial dimension is close to the bolts and a minimum radial dimension is arranged between adjacent planetary bolts. The radially inner edge of the axial bore of the planetary bolts is radially located between the minimum and maximum dimensions of the protrusions. The chamber is delimited by a cover plate and a gasket.
