An electronic apparatus comprises a display panel and a component on a lower surface of the display panel. The display panel includes a first display area with first light-emitting diodes, a second display area with display element groups that include second light-emitting diodes, transmission areas in the second display area, a pixel-defining layer surrounding an emission area of each of the first and second light-emitting diodes, an upper insulating layer, and a thin-film encapsulation layer. The component overlaps the second display area in a plan view. In a boundary portion of the first and second display areas, the pixel-defining layer and the upper insulating layer form a staircase-shaped step, and the upper insulating layer includes at least one protrusion portion protruding towards the second display area from an edge of the upper insulating layer.

Display panel and electronic apparatus

A display apparatus includes a substrate including a component area and a main display area, the component area including sub display areas and transmission areas, main pixel electrodes disposed in the main display area and spaced apart from each other, sub pixel electrodes disposed in the sub display areas and spaced apart from each other, a pixel definition layer covering an edge of each of the main pixel electrodes and an edge of each of the sub pixel electrodes and including transmission holes in areas corresponding to the transmission areas, main spacers disposed on the pixel definition layer in the main display area, and sub spacers disposed on the pixel definition layer in the component area, wherein a number of the sub spacers per unit area is equal to a number of the main spacers per unit area in a plan view.

A display apparatus includes: a substrate having a display area and a peripheral area outside the display area; a first insulating layer over both the display area and the peripheral area; a first dam over the peripheral area and spaced apart from the first insulating layer; an electrode power supply line, at least a part of the electrode power supply line being located between the first insulating layer and the first dam; a protection conductive layer over the first insulating layer, the protection conductive layer extending over the electrode power supply line and electrically connected to the electrode power supply line; a pixel electrode over the first insulating layer in the display area; an opposite electrode over the pixel electrode; and a capping layer covering the opposite electrode and extending outside the opposite electrode such that an end of the capping layer is on the first insulating layer.

An organic light-emitting display apparatus includes: a first pixel including a first pixel circuit and a first light-emitting device to emit light in response to a first driving current received from the first pixel circuit; a second pixel including a second pixel circuit and a second light-emitting device to emit light in response to a second driving current received from the second pixel circuit; and a switch circuit connected between an anode electrode of the first light-emitting device and an anode electrode of the second light-emitting device.
