A digital spectrum analysis apparatus and method for direction finding (DF) and location is provided. The digital spectrum analysis apparatus includes: a multi-channel unit configured to convert signals inputted from antennas into digital signals, reduce a sampling rate of the digital signals by using a digital down converter (DDC), and convert the digital signals into baseband complex signals, and having a plurality of channels; a DF estimator configured to estimate the direction of the signal; a spectrum processing unit configured to map any one of a bearing and a power level of the baseband complex signal into coordinate system, and allocate different colors to one of the bearings and the power levels depending on the accumulation ratio of one of the bearing and the power level; and a display unit configured to display the power level and the bearing with colors.

Digital cumulative spectrum analysis apparatus and method for direction finding and location

A log periodic antenna includes first and second transmission lines parallel with each other; and a plurality of broadband radiation elements having first sides electrically connected to the first and second transmission lines, a predetermined angle being defined between the first sides of the broadband radiation elements and the first and second transmission lines, and second sides not electrically connected with the first and second transmission lines, the second sides having radiation surfaces larger than radiation surfaces of the first sides. A plurality of broadband radiation elements electrically connected with the first transmission line and a plurality of broadband radiation elements electrically connected with the second transmission line are positioned to face each other with reference to the first and second transmission lines.

A rotatable microstrip patch antenna and an array antenna using the same is disclosed. A rotatable microstrip patch antenna, includes: a first substrate layer capable of being predetermined angle rotated toward a predetermined direction for inputting and outputting a transmitting/receiving signal; a second substrate layer arranged bottom of the first substrate layer with a predetermined distance space for transmitting and receiving signals to/from the first substrate layer; and a signal transferring unit for allowing a rotation of the first substrate layer and transferring the signals between the first substrate layer and the second substrate layer.

Rotatable microstrip patch antenna and array antenna using the same

A microstrip patch antenna having high gain and wide band is disclosed. The microstrip patch antenna includes: a first patch antenna layer for radiating a energy supplied from transmitting/receiving feeding circuit and a first radiation patch electrically coupled to the first dielectric layer and supplying the energy to a receiving feeding circuit electrically coupled with the first radiation patch, wherein the energy is supplied by electromagnetic coupling of a first parasitic patch and second parasitic patch; a second patch antenna layer for improving impedance bandwidth of energy received through the first parasitic patch arranged in between the second dielectric layer and the third dielectric layer and radiating the improved impedance bandwidth; and a third patch antenna layer for improving a gain of the energy received through the second parasitic patch arraigned in between the fourth dielectric layer and the fifth dielectric layer.
