A display device having an optical panel with improved light extraction efficiency and light conversion efficiency is provided. The display device includes a first substrate, first to third light-emitting elements arranged on the first substrate, an encapsulation layer covering the first to third light-emitting elements, a first light blocking layer arranged on the encapsulation layer, the first light blocking layer including first openings respectively corresponding to the first to third light-emitting elements, a reflective layer arranged on the first light blocking layer, the reflective layer corresponding to an inner surface of each of the first openings, a first color conversion layer, a second color conversion layer, and a light transmission layer respectively located in first openings, a second light blocking layer on the first light blocking layer including second openings overlapping the first openings, and first to third color filter layers located in the second openings.

A display apparatus includes a display module which displays an image and a backlight unit disposed below the display module. The backlight unit includes a light source which generates light, a light guide member including a light incident surface which receives the light from the light source and an opposite surface facing the light incident surface in a first direction, and a light collection member which is disposed on the light guide member and receives the light from the light guide member to control a traveling direction of the light so that the light travels to the display module. A backlight unit includes a light source generating light, a light guide plate guiding the light in an upper direction, and an optical member disposed on the light guide plate to condense the light provided from the light guide plate in the upper direction. Each of the circular areas includes a central circular area and a ring area surrounding the central circular area. A display apparatus includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a pixel layer and an adhesive part. The first substrate includes an adhesive area, fiber bundles and a base material which is impregnated between the fiber bundles. The second substrate includes an adhesive area, fiber bundles and a base material which is impregnated between the fiber bundles. The pixel layer is between the first and second substrates and includes a display area. The adhesive part is between the first substrate and the second substrate, is in each of the adhesive areas of the first and second substrates, and seals the pixel layer between the first and second substrates. The adhesive area of the first or second substrate includes an exposure area through which the fiber bundles are exposed, and the adhesive part contacts the exposure area.

A display apparatus and a method of manufacturing a display apparatus are disclosed. A display may include a base substrate, a plurality of pixel rows each of which includes a plurality of pixels arranged both in a first direction and in a second direction, a sealant layer covering the pixel rows, and a trench disposed between the pixel rows. Each pixel row may include a plurality of active cavities arranged along the trench and a drain cavity disposed on at least one end of the trench. A capillary force decreases along the active cavities, the drain cavity, and the trench.
