A display device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a light amount control layer between the first substrate and the second substrate; a first line disposed on the first substrate and extending in a first direction and a second line disposed on the first substrate and extending in a second direction which intersects the first direction; a light blocking member disposed on the first substrate and overlapping at least one of the first line and the second line; a plurality of color conversion layers on the second substrate in respective pixel areas; and a partition wall among the plurality of color conversion layers, corresponding to the first line and the second line. The partition wall has a width less than a width of the light blocking member.

A display panel includes: a light emitting device to generate light; a plurality of color conversion patterns including: a first color conversion pattern including first scattering particles dispersed in the first color conversion pattern and configured to scatter the light of the light emitting device; and a second color conversion pattern including second scattering particles dispersed in the second color conversion pattern and configured to scatter the light of the light emitting device; a plurality of color filters including: a first color filter overlapping the first color conversion pattern; and a second color filter overlapping the second color conversion pattern; and a single, low index of refraction layer continuously extending in the surface direction to overlap the first and the second color conversion patterns. The low index of refraction layer has a refractive index lower than refractive indexes of the first and second color conversion patterns.

A display panel includes: a window including a display area, and a non-display area adjacent to the display area; a color filter layer on the window; a circuit element layer including: a low refractive index layer covering the color filter layer; and a transistor on the low refractive index layer; a light control layer including: division partition walls on the circuit element layer; and a light control pattern between the division partition walls, and including quantum dots; and a display element layer on the light control layer, and including: a first electrode; a second electrode on the first electrode; and an emission layer between the first electrode and the second electrode and to generate light. Disclosed is a color conversion panel which may include a first pixel area, a second pixel area, a third pixel area, and a non-pixel area positioned between the first pixel area, the second pixel area, and the third pixel area; a substrate; a light blocking layer in a non-pixel area on a substrate, a color filter layer including a first color filter, a second color filter, and a third color filter; a color conversion layer including a first color conversion pattern on the first color filter, a second color conversion pattern on the second color filter, and a light transmission pattern on third color filter; a transmission bank between the first color conversion pattern, the second color conversion pattern, and the light transmission pattern; an opening in the transmission bank; and a reflection bank in the opening of the transmission bank.

Color conversion panel, method of manufacturing the same, and display device including the same

A display apparatus includes: a top substrate over a bottom substrate and including a first region; a second-color color filter layer on a bottom surface of the top substrate and having a 2-1opening exposing the first region; a first-color color filter layer including a portion in the 2-1opening and a portion on a bottom surface of the second-color color filter layer; a bank between the first-color and the second-color color filter layers and the bottom substrate, the bank having a first opening corresponding to the first region, the first opening including a 1-1portion overlapping the 2-1opening and a 1-2portion outside the 2-1opening; a first-color quantum dot layer in the first opening; and a first reflective layer on an inner surface of the first opening and a portion of a top surface of the first-color quantum dot layer.

Display apparatus

A display apparatus including a light emitting device layer emitting a first light having a peak wavelength of 500 nm or less, a color control layer disposed on the light emitting device layer, the color control layer including an emitting element converting the first light, a color filter layer disposed on the color control layer, and an absorptive scattering element provided in or on the color control layer. The absorptive scattering element may include a light absorbing portion, in which absorptivity of a green or red light is greater than absorptivity of the first light. Accordingly, reflectance of the display apparatus to an external light may be reduced.

A display device includes: a display substrate; a light amount control layer on the display substrate; a first polarizer on the light amount control layer; and a color conversion layer on the first polarizer. The color conversion layer includes a phosphor, the phosphor includes a quantum dot, the quantum dot including: a core; a first shell surrounding the core; and a second shell surrounding the first shell, and the quantum dot has a diameter ranging from about 2 nm to about 32 nm.

Display device and manufacturing method thereof

A liquid crystal display ('LCD') panel and an LCD device according to an exemplary embodiment may provide a first base substrate, a first polarizing layer disposed between the first base substrate and a liquid crystal layer, a first low refraction layer disposed between the first base substrate and the first polarizing layer and having a refractive index less than that of the first base substrate, and a color converting member disposed between the first low refraction layer and the first polarizing layer and including a quantum dot in an integrated manner, to realize excellent optical characteristics and have a small thickness.

Liquid crystal display panel and liquid crystal display device including the same

A display device includes a backlight, a first substrate on a path of light output from the backlight, a second substrate facing the first substrate, a light amount control layer between the first and second substrates, a color filter layer on the second substrate at a pixel area, and a light conversion layer between the light amount control layer and the color filter layer. The light conversion layer outputs white light.

A liquid crystal display device includes a light source member and a display panel disposed on the light source member. The display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other, a liquid crystal layer, and a color conversion layer that is disposed between the liquid crystal layer and the first substrate. The color conversion layer includes a light emitter and a low refractive body having a refractive index of about 1.0 to about 1.3. The liquid crystal display device exhibits high color reproducibility and improves external light extraction efficiency.
