A display device including a substrate; a first electrode on the substrate; a partitioning wall on the first electrode that includes a first opening that overlaps the first electrode; a touch detection electrode on the partitioning wall; a low refractive layer on the partitioning wall and the touch detection electrode, the low refractive layer including a second opening that overlaps the first opening; and a high refractive layer on the low refractive layer. Planar shapes of the first opening and the second opening are polygons, each including a series of sides, and a distance between one side of the first opening and the second opening is different than another side of the first opening and the second opening in a plan view.

The display device includes a substrate, a light emitting diode that is disposed on the substrate, and includes a pixel electrode, a common electrode, and an emission layer disposed between the pixel electrode and the common electrode; an encapsulation layer that is disposed on the light emitting diode, a touch electrode that is disposed on the encapsulation layer, a light blocking portion that is disposed on the touch electrode, a color filter layer that overlaps the emission layer, and a planarization layer that is disposed on the light blocking portion and the color filter layer, wherein the color filter layer is disposed on the encapsulation layer and the light blocking portion, and an edge portion of the color filter layer overlaps the light blocking portion.

A display device according to embodiments includes: a display panel that includes a display area that includes a partition layer that includes a first opening through which light is emitted from an organic light emitting diode and a peripheral area around the display area; a touch electrode disposed on the display panel; a touch electrode passivation layer that covers the touch electrode and includes a second opening that corresponds to the first opening; and a high refractive index layer that covers the touch electrode passivation layer and the second opening. The touch electrode passivation layer includes an open region formed in a portion that corresponds to the peripheral area, and the touch electrode passivation layer is not formed in the open region.

A display device includes a substrate and a plurality of pixels positioned on the substrate. Each pixel includes a first electrode, a partition wall including a first opening overlapping the first electrode, and a low refractive layer including a second opening overlapping the first opening. The plurality of pixels includes a first plurality of pixels having a first gap between an edge of the first opening and an edge of the second opening and a second plurality of pixels having a second gap between an edge of the first opening and an edge of the second opening. The first gap and the second gap have different lengths from each other. At least one of the first plurality of pixels and at least one of the second plurality of pixels emit light of the same color as each other.

A display device according to embodiments includes: a display panel that includes a display area that includes a partition layer that includes a first opening through which light is emitted from an organic light emitting diode and a peripheral area around the display area; a touch electrode disposed on the display panel a touch electrode passivation layer that covers the touch electrode and includes a second opening that corresponds to the first opening; and a high refractive index layer that covers the touch electrode passivation layer and the second opening. An electric field generated in the optical conversion layer by the plurality of first electrodes and the plurality of second electrodes in a multi-view mode generates a phase difference in the optical conversion layer based on a location of the optical conversion material. An image display device includes a display panel displaying an image, and a diffractive element formed to operate in a 2D mode or a 3D mode so that the image of the display panel is perceived as a 2D image or a 3D image after passing through the diffractive element. In the image display device, the diffractive element includes a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other, a first electrode layer formed on the first substrate that includes a plurality of zones, a second electrode layer formed on the second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. Further, when the diffractive element operates in the 3D mode, a common voltage is applied to the second electrode layer, and polarity of voltages applied to the first electrode layer with respect to the common voltage is inverted every zone.
