A battery system includes a plurality of battery modules including battery cells in which electrode tabs having different polarities are formed at both ends thereof, wherein a plurality of battery cells are stacked. The plurality of battery modules includes: a first terminal having a first positive electrode terminal and a first negative electrode terminal, which are formed by connecting electrode tabs located at one end of the battery cells to each other among the plurality of electrode tabs; and a second terminal having a second positive electrode terminal and a second negative electrode terminal, which are formed by connecting electrode tabs located at the other end of the battery cells to each other among the plurality of electrode tabs. The first and second terminals of any one battery module of the plurality of battery modules are arranged to be electrically connected with the first and second terminals of battery modules adjacent to the any one battery module.

Battery system

Provided is a battery pack including a battery module including one or more battery cells; an accommodating body accommodating the battery module; an accommodating cover coupled to the accommodating body to form, together with the accommodating body, a module accommodating space in which the battery module is accommodated; a fire extinguishing portion provided in the accommodating cover and supplying a fire extinguishing agent accommodated therein to the module accommodating space when the temperature of the module accommodating space is equal to or higher than a preset first temperature; and a variable portion which is located between the battery module and the fire extinguishing portion and of which shape or length is changed to expose the fire extinguishing portion toward the battery module when the temperature of the module accommodating space reaches a preset second temperature which is lower than the first temperature.

The present disclosure relates to a battery module, including a cell assembly including one or more battery cells and a busbar assembly electrically connecting the one or more battery cells, a module case including an opening part at least partially opened on one surface, and forming an accommodating space for accommodating the cell assembly therein through the opening part, a module cover coupled to the module case to close the opening part, and a filling part which is provided between an outside of the busbar assembly and the module case and includes an electrically insulating material, and an assembly method thereof.

A battery housing according to exemplary embodiments may include a bottom part, and a first sidewall part and a second sidewall part which are connected to the bottom part and face each other. A battery module, includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; and a heat dissipation plate coupled to one side of the battery cell stack to discharge heat generated in the battery cells externally. The battery cell stack includes a first blocking member formed of an insulating material and disposed between the plurality of battery cells to provide a plurality of insulating spaces. The present invention provides a battery module including: a pair of battery groups in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a first heat exchanger disposed between the pair of battery groups to perform heat exchange with first stacked surfaces of the pair of battery groups; and a pair of second heat exchangers disposed outside the pair of battery groups to perform heat exchange with second stacked surfaces which are sides opposite to the first stacked surfaces.

A battery module includes a plurality of secondary battery cells, a housing member accommodating a plurality of the secondary battery cells therein, and an insulating member disposed on an inner surface of the housing member, preventing flow of electrical current to the housing member, having a heat transfer function to discharge heat of the secondary battery cell externally, and formed to have a predetermined thickness.
