A method is provided for searching a route of a mobile node in a short-range communication environment. A first router to which a mobile node belongs acquires a unique address of the mobile node for communication with the mobile node. The first router determines whether the mobile node travels during communication. When the mobile node travels, the first router broadcasts the unique address of the mobile node to one or more neighboring routers and determines whether the one or more neighboring routers include the mobile node. If a second router, which is one of the one or more neighboring routers, includes the mobile node, the second router performs communication using the unique address without an additional address acquisition process.

Disclosed is an RFID tag for protecting information and a method for protecting personal information. The RFID tag for protecting information includes an encoder for simultaneously outputting first and second signals so as not to allow the RFID reader to distinguish respective RFID tags from each other in accordance with an information request signal from an RFID reader, a modulator for modulating the first and second signals output from the encoder, and first and second antennas respectively for outputting the modulated first and second signals. Therefore, personal information can be protected by preventing the information of the respective RFID tags from being read by unauthorized RFID.

An apparatus for detecting position information of a moving object. The apparatus includes a transponder, a communication module, and a reader. The transponder is installed on a predetermined location of a road and stores position information associated with the installed location. The communication module is mounted to a moving object, emits an RF (Radio Frequency) signal toward a road surface, and receives position information associated with the transponder's installation location from the nearest transponder using an RF signal. The reader receives position information associated with the transponder's installation location from the communication module, and reads a current position of the moving object. The apparatus minimizes a data error between the detected position information. The transponder installed on a road is driven by RF signals received from external devices, resulting in increasing a lifetime of the transponder. This apparatus minimizes the cost of OAM (Operation, Administration, and Maintenance).
