A vehicle display device includes a display for displaying an operation screen, an operation unit prepared separately from the display, and a display control unit for controlling display of the display according to an operation of the operation unit. The operation unit is configured to be turnable. The display control unit displays, on the operation screen, an operation unit image mimicking the shape of the operation unit, and a plurality of selection items selectable by a turning operation of the operation unit in an overlapping manner.

Vehicle display device

A display device includes a display unit for displaying a moving body speed being a speed of a moving body, a first speed that is arbitrarily settable by a driver, and a second speed that is not arbitrarily settable by the driver. The display unit includes a display having a drawing function, and a frame member disposed to overlap the display. The display includes a display area spanning an inner side and an outer side of the frame member. The display displays the moving body speed and the first speed on the inner side of the frame member, and displays the second speed on the outer side of the frame member.

Display device

Present application discloses display apparatus including: display panel having display surface to display image; and overlaid member overlaid on display surface. Overlaid member partitions display surface into inner region at least partially surrounded by overlaid member, and outer region situated outside overlaid member. Image contains inner and outer images displayed in inner and outer regions. Display panel includes signal generator for generating first image signal for changing content of the inner image displayed in inner region in response to first switching signal outputted from first switch. Signal generator generates second image signal for changing content of the outer image displayed in outer region in response to second switching signal outputted from second switch which is more distant from steering wheel than first switch.

Vehicle display apparatus and vehicle

A vehicular display device mounted on a vehicle, including: a display panel; a display controller that displays an opening animation image in a predetermined display region of the display panel; and a detector that detects a getting-in action associated with an occupant getting in the vehicle, wherein the display controller displays a checklist in the predetermined display region as information relating to the vehicle after a driving source for traveling of the vehicle is started, the display controller starts a display operation of displaying the opening animation image in the display region when the getting-in action is detected by the detector, and continues the display operation at least until the checklist is displayed, and the display controller displays, as the opening animation image, an animation image in which an image display operation of changing a display form of a graphic object is periodically repeated, on the display panel.

Vehicular display device

The present application discloses a vehicle display device including an image display device with a display surface on which images are displayed; and a ring member configured to surround a first region, which overlaps the display surface, and a second region, which protrudes from the display surface. The image display device displays an indicator indicating a physical quantity along the ring member in the first region.
