Disclosed herein are indium-tin-oxide nanoparticles and a method for continuously producing precipitated indium-tin nanoparticles having a particle size range of substantially from about 10 nm to about 200 nm and a substantially consistent ratio of indium to tin in the resultant nanoparticles across the duration of the continuous process, based on the ratio of indium to tin in a seeding solution. The method comprises preparing intermediate indium and tin compounds of the general formula [M(OH)C], where M represents the indium or tin ionic component of indium or tin salts, C represents the cationic component of indium or tin salt(s), x is a number greater than 0 and y=[M*valance&#x2212;x]/C* valance in the seeding solution. The intermediate compounds are continuously precipitated with a base solution in a reaction vessel initially having a solvent contained therein. The method also provides a means for controlling the shape of the resultant nanoparticles. The resultant indium-tin nanoparticles may be further processed into dispersions.

Environmentally friendly latex particles are provided which include a gelling agent and a pigment encapsulated in an amorphous resin which may be utilized in forming EA super low melt toners. Methods for providing these resins and toners are also provided.

A phase separation ink including at least one crystallizable component that crystallizes as it cools from a first ink jetting temperature to a second lower temperature; at least one amorphous component comprising a material that remains amorphous at the second temperature; an optional colorant; wherein the at least one crystallizable component and the at least one amorphous component are in a molten, single phase state at the first ink jetting temperature; wherein at the second temperature, the phase separation ink comprises a crystalline phase comprising the at least one crystallizable component and an amorphous phase comprising the at least one amorphous component; wherein the amorphous phase of the at least one phase separation ink substantially penetrates into the final image receiving substrate and the crystalline phase of the at least one phase separation ink substantially remains on the surface of the final image receiving substrate.

Electronic devices, such as organic thin film transistors, with improved mobility are disclosed. The semiconducting layer comprises layers or striations of an organic semiconductor and graphene, including alternating layers/striations of such materials. The organic semiconductor and graphene layers interact well together because both materials form lamellar sheets. The presence of graphene enhances mobility by correcting molecular packing defects in the organic semiconductor layers, and the conductivity of graphene can be controlled. Finally, both materials are flexible, allowing for flexible semiconductor layers and transistors.

A method of forming conductive features on a substrate, the method comprising: providing two or more solutions, wherein a metal nanoparticle solution contains metal nanoparticles with a stabilizer and a destabilizer solution contains a destabilizer that destabilizes the stabilizer, liquid depositing the metal nanoparticle solution and the destabilizer solution onto the substrate, wherein during deposition or following the deposition of the metal nanoparticle solution onto the substrate, the metal nanoparticle and the destabilizer are combined with each other, destabilizing the stabilizer from the surface of the metal nanoparticles with the destabilizer and removing the stabilizer and destabilizer from the substrate by heating the substrate to a temperature below about 180&#xb0; C. or by washing with the solvent.

A process for forming curable powder comprises providing an aqueous dispersion of particles of curable resin and optionally particles comprising at least one curing agent; aggregating the particles optionally with the curing agent to form aggregated particles; coalescing the aggregated particles to form fused particles; and removing the fused particles from the aqueous dispersion. By this process, a curable powder is formed. The curable powder may be used in powder coating.

A system and method create an authentication mark on a recording medium by depositing marking material on a medium in an image area to create a marking material image and to create a marking material authentication image. A predetermined amount of additional marking material is further deposited upon the medium in the authentication image area to increase an amount of marking material associated with the marking material authentication image in the authentication image area. The fixed marking material associated with the authentication image area is a tactilely perceptible authentication mark wherein the fixed marking material associated with the authentication mark has a height, with respect to a surface of the medium, that is tactilely perceptible.
