A display device includes an organic layer, an anode, a pixel defining layer, a cathode, a light emitting layer, a light blocking layer, a color filter, and a sensing electrode. The organic layer includes an anode-connecting opening. The anode is disposed on the organic layer and is partially disposed inside the anode-connecting opening. The pixel defining layer includes an anode-exposing opening that exposes the anode. The cathode overlaps the anode. The light emitting layer is between the anode and the cathode. The light blocking layer overlaps the cathode and includes a blocking layer opening. The color filter fills the blocking layer opening. The sensing electrode is at least partially covered by the light blocking layer. The anode-connecting opening overlaps with each of the sensing electrode, the pixel defining layer, and the light blocking layer in a plan view of the display device.

Light emitting display device

A display device includes: a pixel defining layer defining openings arranged in first and second directions, the openings forming emission areas in which light emitting elements are disposed to emit light of different colors; a light blocking layer disposed on the pixel defining layer, and defining holes, each overlapping the opening and having a larger diameter than the opening; and color filters disposed on the light blocking layer to overlap the holes and overlap the emission areas. The opening has an opening interval, which is defined as a difference in diameter between the overlapping hole and the opening, in the openings, among homogeneous openings in which the light emitting elements for emitting light of the same color are disposed, the homogeneous openings adjacent in the first or second direction have different opening intervals, and among the homogeneous openings, openings having different opening intervals are at least three types.

Display device

A light emitting display device includes a substrate including a display area and a non-display area adjacent to the display area, a lower pad electrode disposed on the substrate in the non-display area, a lower planarization layer disposed on the lower pad electrode and including a via hole exposing an upper surface of the lower pad electrode, an upper pad electrode disposed on the lower pad electrode, the upper pad electrode being electrically connected to the lower pad electrode through the via hole, and a covering layer in contact with a side surface portion of the upper pad electrode, the side surface portion of the upper pad electrode being disposed on the lower planarization layer.

Light emitting display device and manufacturing method thereof

A display device according to an embodiment includes a display unit including first emissive regions displaying a first color, second emissive regions displaying a second color, and third emissive regions displaying a third color; and an anti-reflection unit overlapping the display unit and including first color filters overlapping the first emissive regions, second color filters overlapping the second emissive regions, and third color filters overlapping the third emissive regions, wherein in a plan view, a ratio of an area of the first emissive regions, an area of the second emissive regions, and an area of the third emissive regions and a ratio of an area of the first color filters, an area of the second color filters, and an area of the third color filters are different.
