Provided are a color converting substrate and a display device including same. The color converting substrate includes: a base portion in which a first light transmission area, a first light blocking area, and a second light transmission area, which are sequentially and closely arranged in a first direction, are defined; a first wavelength converting pattern located on the base portion and configured to wavelength-covert a first color light into a second color light; a second wavelength converting pattern located on the base portion and configured to wavelength-convert the first color light into a third color light; and a light transmission pattern located on the base portion and configured to transmit the first color light.

Color converting substrate and display device including same

A color converting substrate includes: a base part having, defined therein a first light transmitting region, a second light transmitting region spaced apart from the first light transmitting region in a first direction, and a first light blocking region between the first light transmitting region and the second light transmitting region; a first color filter positioned on one surface of the base part and overlapping the first light transmitting region; a second color filter positioned on the one surface of the base part and overlapping the second light transmitting region; a light blocking pattern overlapping the first light blocking region and positioned on the one surface of the base part; and a light transmitting pattern positioned on the first color filter, the second color filter, and the light blocking pattern, wherein the first color filter and the second color filter include a coloring material of a first color.

A color conversion substrate and a display device are provided. The color conversion substrate includes a base substrate, a first color filter and a second color filter disposed on a surface of the base substrate, a first partition layer disposed between the first color filter and the second color filter, a second partition layer disposed on the first partition layer, a first wavelength conversion pattern disposed on the first color filter and a second wavelength conversion pattern disposed on the second color filter, wherein the first partition layer includes a first lower surface disposed on the first color filter and a second lower surface disposed on the second color filter.

A display device includes: a substrate including light-emitting areas and a light-blocking area including a spacer area; a color filter layer including color filters and a dummy color pattern, wherein the color filters are disposed in the light emitting areas, and the dummy color pattern is disposed in the spacer area; a light-transmitting layer disposed on the color filter layer and including a light-transmitting pattern and a light-transmitting dummy pattern, wherein the light-transmitting pattern is disposed on the color filters, and the light-transmitting dummy pattern is disposed on the dummy color pattern; and a bank layer disposed on the dummy color pattern, wherein the bank layer includes a spacer part disposed in the light-blocking area, and a bank part disposed in the light-blocking area, wherein the spacer part overlaps the spacer area, wherein the bank part has a smaller height than the spacer part with respect to the substrate.
