The method includes analyzing, by the at least one computing device, the images to determine particular types of weather phenomena. The method includes analyzing, by the at least one computing device, the images to determine a motion of the particular types of weather phenomena. The method includes determining, by the at least one computing device, a weather forecast based on the analyzed images and the motion of the particular types of weather phenomena.

Weather forecasting system and methods

A method, system, and computer program product for managing media. The method comprises a computer system. The computer system identifies a configurable media item in a media for a user. The computer system searches for a corresponding media item in a collection of media items for the user. The computer system replaces the configurable media item with the corresponding media item in the collection of media items.

Media affinity management system

A method and system for forecasting the conditions of locations is provided. The method includes receiving in real time from a user in a specified location, a specified future timeframe associated with a future condition of the specified location. Multiple condition data sets associated with an element of the specified location are simultaneously retrieved and a best fit polynomial equation associated with predicting a future condition of the element is selected. Condition score values associated with future conditions of the element are calculated. An overall condition score value associated with an aggregation of individual condition score values is calculated and presented.

Geographical condition prediction

A method and system for mapping the conditions of locations is provided. The method includes retrieving image data associated with a plurality of locations within a specified geographical area. The image data is compared to a plurality of stored image data that includes baseline measurement values associated with an expected condition level of baseline locations within a baseline geographical area. Condition score values associated with the plurality of locations are calculated. The condition score values indicate real time condition values associated with the plurality of locations. An overall condition score value associated with the specified geographical area is generated. A map indicating the overall condition score value is generated.

Geographical area condition determination

A method is disclosed for managing the performance of shared computing resources in furtherance of delivering on-demand IT services to multiple customers. The inventive method comprises predicting the performance of resources allocated among the customers to minimize performance related problems; preventing performance related problems by evaluating the impact of changes in resource allocations; reacting to performance alerts to resolve performance related problems; and determining the appropriate level of resource performance needed in service level agreements, and that these requirements detailed in the service level agreements are achieved. This Performance Management method ensures that the demands of the customers are not affected by the allocation and utilization of the shared IT resources.

Method for supporting on-demand performance

A method for analyzing a problem in a distributed processing business system used to provide a service is disclosed. The method comprises identifying the problem; preparing for an audit; performing the audit; reviewing the audit; developing an action plan; developing an execution plan; deploying a solution in accordance with the execution plan; monitoring the deployed solution; and recording lessons learned. Alternatively, the method may be applied to evaluate the capacity of a distributed processing business system to provide a prospective service. In this alternative embodiment, the method comprises identifying the problem; preparing for an audit; performing the audit; reviewing the audit; preparing a rating table; populating the rating table with results from the audit; calculating a service rating based upon the results entered in the rating table; and presenting the service rating to management.
