There is disclosed a method of operating a transmitting radio node for a wireless communication network. The method includes transmitting synchronisation signaling in a synchronisation time interval, the synchronisation signaling comprising secondary synchronisation signaling, the secondary synchronisation signaling spanning two or more allocation units of the synchronisation time interval. A method, wireless device and network node are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method for a wireless device includes receiving a configuration of a reference signal resource set from the network node, the reference signal resource set being a set of single-symbol and single antenna port reference signal resources in at least one slot; and based on at least one parameter of the received configuration, determining whether the UE can assume a same antenna port for all reference signal resources of the reference signal resource set.

Network architecture, methods, and devices for a wireless communications network

A method performed in a network node for configuring UE with dynamic spectrum sharing between a first RAT and a second RAT in a wireless communications system is disclosed. The network node configures an initial bandwidth part, BWP, for a UE, spanning across a dedicated spectrum for the first RAT and a shared spectrum between the first and second RATs, wherein synchronization signals of the first RAT are configured in the dedicated spectrum, and at least some other signals of the first RAT are configured in both dedicated and shared spectrum. The first RAT is NR and the second RAT is LTE.

There is disclosed a method of operating a network node in a New Radio, NR, radio access network. The method includes transmitting data signaling in a slot corresponding to an LTE MBSFN subframe, the data signaling being rate-matched around resource elements corresponding to resource elements according to a configuration for Cell-Reference Signaling, CRS, for LTE non-MBSFN subframes. A method and apparatus are disclosed for LTE-NR spectrum sharing. In one embodiment, a method for a wireless device (WD) includes obtaining a configuration of at least one reference signal of a first radio access technology that overlaps in time with a Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service Single Frequency Network, MBSFN, subframe of a second radio access technology. In another embodiment, a method for a network node includes configuring at least one reference signal of a first radio access technology to overlap in time with a MBSFN subframe of a second radio access technology.

There is disclosed a method of operating a user equipment in a radio access network, wherein the method comprises receiving tracking reference signaling, TRS, in a TRS pattern. The TRS pattern represents a distribution of subcarriers for carrying TRS over a range of subcarriers shifted relative to a reference subcarrier corresponding to a central frequency subcarrier of an LTE carrier.

The CSI-RS pattern is based on received first configuration information and received second configuration information.
