A piston-cylinder unit includes a cylinder having a closure body at the end. The closure body has a sleeve body which is fixedly connected on one side to the closure body and which is fastened to the cylinder. The sleeve body has a base which supports an operating pressure in the cylinder in direction of the closure body.

Piston-cylinder unit

A spring plate, especially for a MacPherson strut unit, having an axial support surface for the final turn of a helical spring. The helical spring is centered by radial centering surfaces in the area of the circumferential contour of the final turn. The centering surface is divided into individual, partial centering surfaces, which come to rest against the circumferential contour of the helical spring.

Vibration damper includes a tubular body to which an external part, which acts as a stop, is fastened. A component such as a steering knuckle, which is supported against the stop, is also fastened to the tubular body. When a normal load on the component is exceeded, a deformation area allows the component to shift on the tubular body.

A damping valve arrangement for a vibration damper includes a damping valve body, which has at least one through-flow opening for the damping medium, and at least one valve disk which at least partly covers the through-flow openings under the influence of a closing force. The damping valve arrangement includes at least one spring element which has at least one supporting portion axially supported at another structural component part of the damping valve arrangement, and at least one spring portion disposed at a distance from the supporting portion and which introduces a spring force into the valve disk at least indirectly, wherein the spring force of the spring element is directed counter to the closing force acting on the valve disk, and wherein the spring force of the spring element is less than the closing force of the valve disk.

Damping valve arrangement for a vibration damper

A protective pipe for a piston-cylinder unit comprises a pipe body having at one end a bottleneck-shaped base which is axially and radially supported at least indirectly at a piston rod of the piston-cylinder unit. A surface region of the bottleneck-shaped base has an accumulation of material which increases radially inward starting from its outer edge.

A mount for supporting a vibration damper in a vehicle has a cap provided with an anti-twist surface and configured to extend through a recessed support surface of the vehicle. The mount is provided with a retainer operable to couple the anti-twist surface to the support surface so as to suspend the vibration damper on the vehicle before and independently from fastening the vibration damper to the vehicle.

A vibration damper, comprising a damping medium-filled cylinder, in which a piston rod is guided with freedom of axial movement, where, inside a working space in the cylinder, a stop spring in the form of a circular ring is located, which, after the piston rod has reached a defined stroke position, is compressed between a stop surface on the piston rod side and an end surface forming an axial boundary of the working space, and where the stop spring also forms a boundary of a radially inner space, which is connected to the working space outside the stop spring by means of at least one radial channel. The stop surface on the piston rod side and/or the axially limiting end surface is formed by a rigid body and is provided with at least one radial channel, which extends from the radially inner space to the radially outer working space, 'inner' and 'outer' being defined with respect to the stop spring.

A bearing housing with at least one bearing for the vibration damper, where the bearing has a bearing input part and a bearing output part, which are able to rotate with respect to each other during operation. The bearing has an assembly lock, which prevents the bearing input part from rotating with respect to the bearing output part during installation in a vehicle.

Bearing for a vibration damper

A suspension strut top mount having a bearing connection onto a vehicle body and a spring retainer for a vehicle support. The spring retainer is set obliquely relative to a central axis of a suspension strut. The suspension strut top mount further has an obliquely set bearing arranged between the bearing connection and the spring retainer and has a bearing input part, which is associated with the bearing connection, and a bearing output part, which is associated with the spring retainer. A stop buffer, which is arranged concentrically to the central axis of the suspension strut, comes into contact on a cylinder-end surface of the suspension strut in a defined spring compression position. The stop buffer has an effective connection to the bearing output part of the bearing.

Suspension strut top mount

Suspension strut unit comprising a connector bearing for piston rod of the suspension strut unit, a spring plate for a vehicle spring, and a first has a bearing with a bearing input part on the spring plate side and a bearing output part on the connector bearing side, which bearing allows relative rotational movement between the vehicle spring and the connector bearing of the piston rod. After the piston rod has traveled inward a certain distance, the cylinder is supported against the connector bearing by way of a stop buffer. A second bearing allows relative rotational movement between the connector bearing and the cylinder when the stop buffer is active; the second bearing is located functionally between the stop buffer and the connector bearing, and a functional separation is present between the bearing input part for the spring plate and the second bearing.

A retaining cap includes a sleeve-shaped basic body which has at least one protective bellows retaining segment on which a protective bellows can be supported. A component which is movable with respect to the retaining cap can penetrate into the installation space of the retaining cap, the retaining cap having a plurality of deformation regions which are arranged in the circumferential direction. When in contact with the movable component, these regions make possible a free passage for the movable component.

One-piece knuckle bracket made as a bent-to-shape part, comprising two support bodies a certain distance apart, each with an opening for receiving the external casing of a strut-type shock absorber. A connecting web and tabs for attachment of the shock absorber to a joint are provided between the support bodies, and the connecting web between the separated support bodies and the tabs for the attachment to a joint are connected to each other in such a way as to form an overall U-shape.
