A sintered clutch ring () is described, comprising a rim of clutch teeth () which comprise wedge-like face surfaces () intersecting in an axial plane and flanks () sloping downwardly under an angle of inclination from the tooth back () against the tooth root, with the flanks () being relieved starting from a re-entrant, axially normal shoulder (). In order to provide advantageous conditions for press forming the flank reliefs it is proposed that the planes of intersection between the wedge-like face surfaces () extend outside of the center of the teeth and that the mutually axially offset shoulders () of the two flanks () of the clutch teeth () separate the relieved flanks () from a paraxial flank portion () which is substantially triangular and is adjacent to the face surfaces ().

Sintered clutch ring

A synchronization device is described for a change speed gear, comprising at least one cone clutch which comprises a double cone ring () which is freely rotatable relative to a hub () between an inner friction ring () and an outer synchronizing ring () which is axially displaceable relative to the friction ring () and which comprises a ring body () with a stop gearing () on the outer circumference and a friction surface () on the inner circumference as well as radially inwardly facing drivers () for the friction ring (). In order to provide advantageous constructional conditions it is proposed that the drivers () are provided on a driver ring () made of at least one sheet-metal pre-cut part which is joined to the ring body () consisting of a sintered body.

Synchronization device for a change speed gear

To manufacture a synchronizing ring of a synchronizing device for a variable-ratio gear transmission, this synchronizing ring having a ring body having locking teeth on an outer circumference and a friction lining made of a carbon nonwoven material bonded to a duroplastic resin on the conical inner circumference, the ring body is compressed from a sintering powder and sintered before the sintered ring body is axially compressed in a die at least in the region of the conical inner circumference. The friction lining is then glued onto the conical inner circumference of the ring body and secured in a mold under pressure while supplying heat.
