The invention relates to a device for handling notes of value, comprising a head module and a safe module for accommodating a cash box. Further, the device has an intermediate module for transmitting a drive force of a drive unit of the head module to a cash box mechanism and/or to transport elements of the safe module. The intermediate module is designed such that it is adaptable to at least two different wall thicknesses of a wall of the safe module so that at least for these two wall thicknesses it can transmit the drive force from the drive unit to the cash box mechanism or the transport elements of the safe module.

A self service bank terminal is constructed so as to be usable by sitting and standing customers, so as to take up little floor surface, and so that several terminals can be placed side-by-side with the display screen of one terminal being not viewable by customers at other of the terminals. Terminal for treating forms

The invention relates to a banknote compartment for a till drawer or the like, which is defined by a bottom, sidewalls, a rear wall and a front wall and has a covering element which extends from the rear wall over a part of the length of the compartment which is measured between the rear wall and the front wall. Said covering element comprises a holding-down clamp for banknotes, near its free edge which is at a distance from the rear wall. The clamp can be pivoted about an axis which is parallel to the bottom and the rear wall, between a pressure position, in which said clamp is pre-stressed downwards in the direction of the bottom, and a lifted release position. At least one intermediate bottom dividing the banknote compartment into superposed partial compartments is arranged between the bottom of the compartment and the covering element, parallel thereto and at a distance therefrom. Said intermediate bottom extends from the rear wall over a part of the length of the compartment.

The invention relates to a cassette for receiving a stack of sheets, with a pressing element which bears against a first end face of the stack of sheets and is movable in the pressing direction, with a drive motor for displacing the pressing element so that a second end face the stack of sheets facing away from the pressing element can be brought to bear against extracting elements of a sheet extracting device, and with a measuring device for determining the pressing force of the stack of sheets against the extracting elements an output signal of the measuring device serving for controlling the drive motor in order to generate a predetermined pressing force. The stack of sheets and the pressing element are arranged in a slide which is accommodated in the cassette movably in the direction of displacement of the pressing element, the pressing element being displaceable with respect to the slide by the drive motor. The slide is pressed by a displacement-dependent force in the direction of the extracting elements.

The invention relates to a device for treating forms, especially betting slips or the like, comprising a reader with a transport device that forms a gap-type transport path for a betting slip. In the path of said transport path a reading head is disposed and is linked with a control and evaluation unit. In the projection of the at least one vertically aligned transport path a printer is disposed below the reading heat that is linked with the control and evaluation unit. Said printer comprises an abutment and a print head that can be adjusted between an abutment remote rest position and an abutment proximal operative position. Downstream of the abutment and below said abutment a sheet tray is provided.
