Provided is an antistatic silicone rubber composition. The composition comprises at least one lithium compound selected from the group consisting of a lithium amide, lithium silylamide, lithium alkyl phosphate salt, lithium phenoxide, lithium sulfate and a lithium permanganate, in an amount of from about 0.1 to about 15 mass % of the composition. In general, the composition may comprise: (A) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon atom-bonded alkenyl groups per molecule; (B) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule; (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst; and (D) the at least one lithium compound as described above. The composition generally exhibits good curability, and cures to form a silicone rubber exhibiting excellent antistatic properties.

Antistatic silicone rubber composition

Provided is an antistatic silicone rubber composition. The composition comprises at least one potassium salt selected from the group consisting of a potassium alkyl phosphate, potassium bis(trialkylsily)amide, potassium dialkyl amide, potassium sulfate, potassium phenoxide, and potassium permanganate, in an amount of from about 0.1 to about 15 mass % of the composition. In general, the composition may comprise: (A) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon atom-bonded alkenyl groups per molecule; (B) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule; (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst; and (D) the at least one potassium salt as described above. The composition generally exhibits good curability, and cures to form a silicone rubber exhibiting excellent antistatic properties.

A photocurable silicone composition is disclosed. The composition comprises 4,5,6,7-tetrachloro-3',6&#x2032;-dihydroxy-2&#x2032;,4&#x2032;,5&#x2032;,7&#x2032;-tetraiodospiro[2-benzofuran-3,9&#x2032;-xanthen]-1-one as a photochromic pigment. The photochromic pigment is present in an amount of from about 0.001 to about 0.05 mass % of a total amount of the composition. The composition can indicate a cure point thereof by disappearance of color.

Photocurable silicone composition

A photocurable silicone composition is disclosed. The composition comprises at least one photochromic pigment. The at least one photochromic pigment is selected from the group consisting of 4,4',4&#x2033;-methylidynetris(N,N-dimethylaniline), 3,3-bis(p-dimethylaminophenyl)-6-dimethylaminophthalide, 4-4&#x2032;-benzylidenebis(N,N-dimethylaniline), 2-[(2,4-dinitrophenyl)methyl] pyridine, and combinations thereof. The at least one photochromic pigment is present in an amount of from about 0.001 to about 0.05 mass % of a total amount of the composition. The composition can indicate a cure point thereof by coloring.
