The invention relates to a bonded high-pressure rubber hose comprising a flexible internal stripwound tube (), a liquid and gas tight liner () made from rubber or plastic, reinforcing plies embedded in rubber, and in specific cases an adhesively bonded coupling body (), the lower reinforcing ply or plies being disposed at an angle smaller than the so-called angle of equilibrium (35.26&#xb0;). The invention is characterized by that in addition to the primary liner the hose () comprises a liquid and gas tight secondary liner () disposed above the small angle reinforcing ply or plies (), and that the following inequality holds for the angle of lay of the lowest reinforcing ply () of the hose: &#x2022;where &#x2022;ais the angle of lay of the lowest small angle reinforcing ply () &#x2022;D s is the outside diameter of the internal stripwound tube () &#x2022;Dis the mean diameter of the lowest small angle reinforcing ply ().

Bonded high-pressure rubber hose, particularly for conveying gaseous media

The invention relates to a hose comprising a steel coupling (), in which the structural elements of the hose, namely the reinforcing plies (), liner (), carcass (), and cover () are bonded. The main feature of the invention is that the reinforcing plies () of the hose, which are partially or entirely bonded with rubber, are embedded in the adhesive resin layer in the coupling device () assembled to the vulcanized hose.
