Disclosed herein is a washing machine. The washing machine includes a main body having a laundry inlet on the front portion, a tub provided inside the main body to store water, a drum rotatably installed inside the tub, a pulsator provided inside the drum and configured to be rotatable with respect to the drum, a first driving motor to provide power to the pulsator, and a second driving motor to provide power to the drum.

Provided is a dish washer having an enhanced structure for usability. A dish washer may be installed in a built-in type in a system kitchen including a cabinet having a storage room and a counter arranged on the cabinet to have an opening. The dish washer includes a tub having a front opening, a front door provided to open or close the front opening, a cover frame mounted on the opening of the counter to be separated from the tub in a vertical direction of the dish washer, a top door installed on the cover frame to open or close the opening of the counter, and a coupling member coupling the cover frame to the tub to be expanded or contracted in the vertical direction of the dish washer.

A washing machine includes a cabinet, a fixed tub disposed in the cabinet to store washing water, a rotating tub rotatably disposed in the fixed tub, and a detergent supply unit configured to supply detergent into the rotating tub. The detergent supply unit includes a main body configured to form an exterior, a detergent storage portion provided in the main body, and a leakage prevention passage provided to enclose at least part of the detergent storage portion and configured to guide the washing water overflowing from the detergent storage portion into the cabinet. By such configuration, it is possible to prevent the leakage of washing water and enhance washing water feed efficiency.

A bubble generating device and a washing machine equipped with the bubble generating device. The washing machine includes a water tub into which water is introduced, a bubble generating device to generate bubbles and supply the bubbles into the water tub, a pump to suck water from the water tub and supply the water into the bubble generating device, and a connecting pipe having an end connected to the bubble generating device and the other end connected to the water tub. The other end of the connecting pipe is located above a water level in the water tub. The bubble generating device selectively performs a bubble generating process in which bubbles are generated and supplied into the water tub, or a water circulating process in which water from the water tub circulates through the connecting pipe and flows back to the water tub.

A drum washing machine and washing method are provided. The washing machine directly sprays water to laundry inside the drum through a nozzle unit. The method includes passing some water through a detergent container and directly spraying some water to the inside of a drum through a nozzle unit such that a high concentration of detergent bubbles is generated while applying a force to the laundry. The washing machine includes a cabinet, a tub inside the cabinet, a drum inside the tub, a door on the cabinet, a diaphragm, and a nozzle unit installed so interference with the door is avoided and to receive water directly from an external source to spray water inside the drum during a washing cycle and a rinsing cycle. The nozzle unit adjusts water jetting according to a displacement of an actuator installed inside the nozzle unit.
