The present invention relates to a gene expression cassette including a synthetic 5' untranslated region (5′ UTR), a promoter, and a regulatory gene; a recombinant vector including a replication origin and the gene expression cassette; a recombinant microorganism which has the recombinant vector introduced thereinto and shows alleviated segregational instability and; a method for preparing a recombinant microorganism having alleviated segregational instability by introducing the recombinant vector thereinto; and a method for quantitatively controlling a plasmid copy number in a recombinant microorganism. According to the present invention, removal of infA and efp, which are genes indispensable for cells, encoding respectively for a translation initiation factor and a protein elongation factor (EF-P), from a microbial chromosome and introduction of the gene expression cassette including the regulatory gene withserving as a host allow the stable maintenance of plasmids in an antibiotic-free medium without causing intercellular intrinsic variations. In addition, the precise control of expression levels of infA and efp in the recombinant microorganism by means of a promoter can lead to the quantitative control of PCN at high yield as well. Therefore, the present invention can find a broad spectrum of applications in a variety of industries producing recombinant proteins.

Method for quantitatively controlling plasmid copy number in antibiotic-free plasmid maintenance system

The present invention relates to a novel microorganism capable of metabolizing various carbon sources at high rates. A novel microorganism according to the present invention was observed to grow at a very high rate in a minimal medium/nutrient medium, etc., compared to microorganisms such as, and shows resistance at a high initial sugar/salt concentrations as well as being able to produce lycopene and 2,3-butanediol through genetic manipulation. Therefore, the novel microorganism can be used in various production fields of high value-added compounds using microorganisms.

The present invention relates to: a transgenicin which a glutamine tRNA 5' terminus-derived fragment (Gln 5&#x2032;-tsRNA) is overexpressed; a preparation method therefor; and a method for screening for aging-associated factors by using the transgenic. A transgenicmodel provided in the present invention is an animal model in which Gln 5&#x2032;-tsRNA is overexpressed such that aging is inhibited. When the model of the present invention is used, anti-aging mechanisms can be easily investigated, thereby significantly contributing to various research fields such as that of developing new anti-aging drugs and screening for age-inducing materials.

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a nickel ferrite nanoparticle composite having an inverse spinel structure obtained using a polyol process, a nickel ferrite nanoparticle composite prepared by the method, and a method for selectively binding, separating or purifying a specific protein using the nickel ferrite nanoparticle composite. The method for preparing a magnetic nanoparticle composite according to the present invention includes a one-step hydrothermal synthesis process, and thereby the magnetic nanoparticle composite can be prepared in a simple and economic manner. Also, the nickel ferrite nanoparticles synthesized by the method of the present invention can be strongly magnetic, and also exist in the form of Niin which Ni binds to a specific protein, thereby preventing loss of separability caused by additional oxidation and repeated recycling of the nanoparticles.

A method of screening a high L-tryptophan-producing microorganism using a riboswitch is provided. More particularly, a riboswitch for screening a high L-tryptophan-producing microorganism including a tryptophan aptamer, a DNA sequence consisting of 1 to 20 nucleotides and a selectable marker gene, and a method of screening a high L-tryptophan-producing microorganism using the same are provided. The riboswitch and the method of screening a high L-tryptophan-producing microorganism using the same can be useful in selecting a strain producing a high concentration of L-tryptophan in a relatively quick and easy manner, and thus enhancing price competitiveness of tryptophan production using microorganisms.
