A display device includes: a display panel including a foldable area having flexibility; a first support member disposed under the display panel and including a stretchable portion overlapping the foldable area; a second support member disposed under the first support member and including a first support plate and a second support plate spaced apart from each other; a third support member disposed under the first support member and including a material different from a material of the second support member; and a circuit board contacting a part of the display panel and one surface of the third support member, respectively.

A display device includes a display module, a protection film, and a complementary film. The display module is foldable with respect to a first bending axis and a second bending axis spaced apart from the first bending axis. The protection film is below the display module, overlaps the first bending axis and the second bending axis, and includes a polymer material. The complementary film is below the protection film, overlaps only the second bending axis of the first and second bending axes, and includes a metal.

Foldable display device including protection film

A display device includes a display module, a protective member under the display module, and an adhesive member between the display module and the protective member. The display module includes a folding area foldable along a folding axis, a first non-folding area, and a second non-folding area, and the folding area is between the first and second non-folding areas. A first thickness of the protective member overlapping with the folding area is less than a second thickness of the protective member overlapping with the first non-folding area and a third thickness of the protective member overlapping with the second non-folding area.

A flexible display device includes: a display panel capable of being bent with respect to a folding line; and a metal plate disposed on the display panel and capable of being bent with respect to the folding line. The metal plate has a plurality of holes disposed on each side of the folding line, the plurality of holes being formed in a zigzag pattern with respect to the folding line.

The display part includes a display panel configured to display an image on a front surface thereof, a flat portion, and an edge portion extended from a side of the flat portion and curved in a direction toward which the image is displayed.
