The present specification discloses a transformedstrain which may directly produce squalene from carbon dioxide, and a method for producing squalene and a method for removing carbon dioxide, using the same. In an aspect, the strain may produce squalene using carbon dioxide as a carbon source. Thestrain is economically efficient because a high-value added squalene is produced using light and carbon dioxide present in the atmosphere as a carbon source, and the method for producing squalene is eco-friendly because the strain may be utilized to remove or reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere by using microorganisms. The strain of the present disclosure may produce only squalene, which is a desired target material with high purity, and has an advantage in that squalene may be continuously mass-produced.

The present disclosure discloses a transformedstrain capable of producing biodiesel directly from carbon dioxide and a method for producing biodiesel and a method for removing carbon dioxide using the same. In an aspect, the transformedstrain of the present disclosure can produce biodiesel in large scale using carbon dioxide as a carbon source. Thestrain is environment-friendly because it can be used to remove or reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The strain of the present disclosure is advantageous in that it can produce biodiesel in large scale because it grows faster and exhibits excellent carbon dioxide fixation capability as compared to other photosynthetic microorganisms.

The present disclosure discloses a vector that can be used for both cyanobacteria and, which contains, sequentially, a pUC replication origin as a replication origin; a spectinomycin-resistant gene as a selection marker; and a promoter selected from a group consisting of a trc promoter, a tetA promoter or a modified tetA promoter, a BAD promoter and a cbbL promoter. An industrially useful substance may be produced effectively using a host cell transformed with the vector. Also, the vector may be used to insert a variety of target genes through simple combination and, as a result, various vectors can be prepared effectively.

There are provided an ionic liquid having ether group(s) in which a copper(I) compound is included, a method for preparing the same, and a method for removing traces amounts of acetylene-based hydrocarbon compounds included in olefin by absorption or extraction using the same. When the disclosed solution is used, oxidation of Cu(I) to Cu(II) is prevented since CuX is stabilized by the ionic liquid. Thus, selective removal efficiency of acetylenic compounds is improved greatly while the removal performance is retained for a long period of time. The present invention relates to a method of purifying olefin, the method comprising removing a small amount of acetylenic compounds contained in olefin by using pyrrolidinium-based or piperidinium-based ionic liquid mixtures comprising copper (I) halide. According to the method of the present invention, copper (I) halide is stabilized by pyrrolidinium-based or piperidinium-based ionic liquids, suppressing the oxidation of Cu(I) into Cu(II), whereby the capacity of removing acetylenic compounds can be maintained for a long time and the selective removal rate of acetylenic compounds to olefin can be significantly improved. In addition, since the ionic liquid mixtures comprising copper (I) halide used in the method of the present invention can be applied to both absorption and extraction processes, it can effectively remove acetylenic compounds from olefin in a more simple and economical way compared to the existing adsorption and membrane separation processes.

The present invention relates to a method for separation and recycling of pure sulfur dioxide from a gaseous mixture in the IS cycle. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for separation and recycling of pure sulfur dioxide from a gaseous mixture in the IS cycle using an ionic liquid under a specific condition. When compared with the conventional amine-based absorbent, the use of the ionic liquid enables continuous absorption and stripping of SOeven at high temperature, and enables a reversible absorption of SOwithout loss, decomposition or degradation of a solvent due to good chemical stability, thereby enabling separation and recycling of pure SOfrom a gaseous mixture in the IS cycle.
