A display device is provided. The display device includes a first sensing electrode extending in a first direction, the first sensing electrode including a first sub-sensing electrode and a second sub-sensing electrode spaced apart from each other in a touch area which senses a touch input; a second sensing electrode extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction, the second sensing electrode including a third sub-sensing electrode and a fourth sub-sensing electrode spaced apart from each other in the touch area; a first touch signal line connected to the first sub-sensing electrode and the second sub-sensing electrode; and a second touch signal line connected to the third sub-sensing electrode and the fourth sub-sensing electrode.

Display device

A touch sensor includes a substrate, an insulating layer, a sensor, and sensing lines. The substrate includes: a sensing region, and a peripheral region at a periphery of the sensing region. The insulating layer is on the substrate. The insulating layer includes contact holes. The sensor is on the substrate and overlaps the sensing region. The sensing lines are on the substrate and overlap the peripheral region. The sensing lines are connected to the sensor. Each of the sensing lines is formed as a multilayer structure. The multilayer structure includes a first electrically conductive layer on the substrate, and a second electrically conductive layer connected to the first electrically conductive layer via a contact hole among the contact holes. Widths of the sensing lines are different from one another.

Touch sensor and display device including the same

A display device including a substrate having an active area and a non-active area having first to fourth areas, a light-emitting element on the substrate, a touch layer having a main touch area overlapping the active area, and an encapsulation layer between the light-emitting element and the touch layer, in which the first area is between the active area and the second area, the third area is between the second and fourth areas, the touch layer includes touch electrodes and touch lines connected to the touch electrodes, the touch lines include a first touch line part overlapping the first area and a second touch line part overlapping the third area, the first touch line part includes first and second touch conductive layers of the touch layer, and the second touch line part includes the first touch conductive layer and does not include the second touch conductive layer.

An exemplary embodiment of the present inventive concept provides a display device including: a display area where an image is displayed; a peripheral area disposed outside the display area; a hole area disposed within the display area; a hole crack detection line disposed adjacent to the hole area to surround the hole area and having a first end and a second end that is separated from the first end; a first detection line extending from the peripheral area and connected to the hole crack detection line to constitute a first closed circuit; a second detection line extending from the peripheral area and connected to the hole crack detection line to constitute a second closed circuit; and a circuit portion connected to the first detection line and the second detection line.
