The present invention relates to a method of determining stock in an inventory. The method comprises obtaining one or more images comprising one or more objects. Further, estimating a three dimensional (3D) location of a Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) marker associated with each of one or more visible objects. Furthermore, determining a stacking pattern of the one or more objects for each level on the pallet using one of the 3D location of SKU marker and a learning model. Thereafter, detecting at least one of presence or absence of one or more undetected objects at each level based on the stacking pattern and the 3D location of the SKU marker. Finally, determining the stock in the inventory based on the presence or the absence of the one or more undetected objects and the one or more visible objects.

System and method of guiding a plurality of agents for complete coverage of an inspection area

Disclosed herein is a method and system for counting plurality of objects placed in a region. An image of the region is captured and partitioned into segments based on depth of the plurality of objects. Further, shape of each of the plurality of objects in each object region of each segment is determined and validated based on comparison of the determined shape with predetermined shapes. Finally, count of the plurality of objects of each shape is aggregated for determining count of the plurality of objects in the region. In an embodiment, the present disclosure helps in automatically recognizing and counting the plurality of objects of multiple dimensions and multiple shapes, even when the image of the region includes a distorted/unfavorable background.

Method and system counting plurality of objects placed in a region

The present disclosure is related in general to field of machine learning and image processing and a method and system for handling occluded regions in an image frame to generate surround view. A surround view generating device detects presence or absence of occluded blocks in each image frame received from image capturing devices associated with the vehicle, based on speed and direction of the vehicle. Further, occluded blocks are predicted by mapping the image frames and sensor data of the vehicle with pre-stored image data using a machine learning model. Finally, corrected image frames are generated by stitching the predicted occluded blocks to the image frames, and then a surround view of the vehicle is generated using corrected image frames and the plurality of image frames. The present disclosure enables prediction of occlusions caused due to dust or water depositions on the image capturing devices of non-overlapping field of view.
