The present disclosure relates to an induction heating apparatus and a method of controlling the same. A controller of the induction heating apparatus according to the present disclosure may set an operation mode of an inverter circuit to a half bridge mode when a required power value of a working coil is set to a value less than a reference power value such that a driving frequency of the working coil decreases while an actual power value of the working coil is kept the same as the required power value. Additionally, the controller of the induction heating apparatus may adjust a duty ratio of a switching signal input to a switching element included in the inverter circuit, thereby adjusting the actual power value of the working coil.

Induction heating apparatus and method of controlling the same

An induction heater device and a method for controlling an induction heating device are provided. The method may include determining a first target frequency of a first working coil corresponding to the drive command for the first working coil, determining a second target frequency of a second working coil corresponding to the drive command for the second working coil, and determining a final drive frequency of the first working coil and a final drive frequency of the second working coil based on the first target frequency and the second target frequency, respectively.

Induction heating device and method for controlling induction heating device

The present disclosure relates to an induction heating device. A loaded-object sensor according to the present disclosure is arranged concentrically and centrally in the working coil. Thus, the sensing coil and the working coil are adjacent to each other. When a current for the heating operation is applied to the working coil, an induction voltage is generated in the sensing coil by magnetic force generated by the current applied to the working coil. According to the present disclosure, a limiting circuit is used to reduce the induction voltage generated in the sensing coil when the heating operation of the working coil is performed.
