An aircraft includes a fuselage, a wing structure and a tail assembly, and also at least one propeller having the general shape of a ring. The propeller includes a rotor formed by an annular element having blades projecting outwardly therefrom, and a likewise annular base coaxial to the annular element and on which the annular element can turn under the action of a driver. The base is coaxial to the fuselage and integrated into the shell constituting the fuselage. The blades of the rotor are arranged outside the shell.

Aircraft

A fastening device for assembly and quick release between objects includes a retaining device for an attachment element with a dockable portion. There is a plurality of separable parts held close together around the attachment element by at least one disengageable preloading mechanism. The preloading mechanism includes a link wound around the separable parts in order to hold them closed on the attachment element, which has the appearance of a ribbon wound in a spiral and has spring properties. The ribbon has a non-constant thickness, i.e. the thickness decreases from the inside towards the outside of the spiral. The thickness decreases with the angle of the spiral. It is manufactured as such, in its final form, by a manufacturing process employing either the removal of material by machining, or by aggregation of material.

Fastening device for assembly and quick release between objects

A method for manufacturing a part made from composite material of a thermoplastic or thermosetting matrix reinforced with fibers includes producing a structure of fibers, that is optionally pre-impregnated. The method further includes aligning and juxtaposing fibers, while stretching them between return elements, and keeping them separated from each other, so as to obtain a first layer. The method includes superimposing, on said first layer, a second layer obtained in an identical manner to the first, in which the fibers are parallel to those of the first layer and kept apart from it. The method includes repeating the superimposing operation until the desired thickness is obtained and stiffening the material making up the matrix (M) by a method that suits its nature.

Method for manufacturing a part made from composite material

The method for warning of risk of rupture or deformation of a part made of a composite material when it is subjected to a force relates to a part including a fibre-reinforced thermoplastic or thermohardenable matrix. The method includes arranging the fibers in a lattice structure produced by winding fibers to form bars that join together or intersect at nodes. The method includes designing at least one bar of the lattice and/or integrating, into the part, at least one additional bar with a determined location and tensile strength and associating, with the at least one bar, inside the part, a sensor to detect the rupture thereof. The method further includes associating, with the sensor, an emitter, outside the part, for a signal relating to the rupture.

Method for warning of risk of rupture or deformation of a part made of a composite material, and part produced

A method for producing a part made of composite material includes adding a thermoplastic or thermosetting matrix around a preform of a reinforcing fiber mesh made by filament winding around the spurs or the like of a frame. There is winding in addition to the fibers on one or several reels within the matrix, the axes of the spurs or the like and those of the one or more reels having different orientations, so as to provide the mesh of fibers with a three-dimensional shape.

Method for producing a part made of composite material, and so obtained composite part

A connector assembly includes a generally L-shaped fitting with a first mounting portion having a mounting hole(s), a second mounting portion extending generally angled to the first mounting portion and having a mounting hole(s) and a joint portion integrally connecting the two mounting portions. The joint portion has a load section(s) defined between a concave surface section extending between inner surfaces of the first and second mounting portions and a convex surface section extending between outer surfaces of the first and second mounting portions, the load section concave surface section having a radius of curvature. A washer has an outer perimeter surface with a section having a partially spherical profile and is sized such that the spherical surface section is disposed against the joint load section concave surface so that the washer exerts force generally against the joint load section when the washer is clamped to the second mounting portion.

A method for manufacturing a ring-shaped frame made from composite material includes slipping at least one tubular casing of dry fibers over an assembly having at least two coaxial sub-assemblies axially movable relative to one another and between which a peripheral groove is defined. The assembly is disposed in the general plane of the frame. A portion of the tubular casing is forced into the groove and the two sub-assemblies are tightened so as to hold a portion of the tubular casing in the groove. Two parts of the casing that are outside the groove are coupled, and the obtained coupling is folded onto one of the two sub-assemblies in order to obtain a preform of dry fibers. The preform is solidified by polymerization.

Method for manufacturing a ring-shaped frame

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a composite part intended for being subjected, via at least one attachment point, to pulling and/or compression forces. The method includes: winding fibers on a hub so as to form a portion of the wall of the part, and creating an externally convex rounded area at the location intended to form the area for applying the pulling and/or compression forces. The forces are radial thereto. The method also includes placing an insert on the convex rounded area, the insert including the attachment point or a mechanism for rigidly connecting the attachment point, and continuing to wind fibers so as to form the rest of the wall, while covering a portion of the insert and leaving the attachment point or the mechanism for rigidly connecting the attachment point accessible.

Method of manufacturing a composite part, and resulting part

The single-use valve to be installed on a line for transporting a fluid includes a tubular body, which is intended to be placed on the line and contains a mobile element that is able to take up two positions in the tubular body. Each position allows the fluid to pass through the tubular body or not, one being a standby position, while the other is an active position. Inside the tubular body, a driver able to move the mobile element such that the mobile element passes from its standby position to the active position. The driver includes a pretensioned elastic device. Outside the tubular body, a device for maintaining the pretension connects to a controller able to deactivate the device for maintaining the tension.

Single-use valve

The spring device includes a part using the resilient properties of the material from which the part is made. There are at least two opposite points or areas, which are to be biased. The device includes, between the points or areas, an intermediate portion including a mesh structure resulting from the assembly of optionally rectilinear segments, at least two of which lie in separate planes, both outside of the direction of bias. During the biasing, one segment is longitudinally biased by compression and the other is longitudinally biased by pulling.

Spring device

A multi-branch fitting includes at least three branches, molded from a composite material and, more precisely, from a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic or thermoset matrix. The fitting is intended for assembling components which are at an angle to one another. There are at least three flat or substantially flat branches or flanges extending radially from a joining zone, and at least one face or part of a face constituting a bearing face for one or more of the components that are to be attached. The joining zone has a cross section, in the transverse direction, in the shape of a polygon with concave sides. The connection of each of the branches or flanges with another adjacent branch or flange is achieved through a portion in the shape of a curved blade which gives the joining zone one of its concave shapes.

Multi-branch fitting made of composite material and method of manufacturing such a mult-branch fitting

A part made of a composite is intended to be subjected, through at least a point of attachment and in cooperation with connectors, to tensile and/or compressive forces. The part includes a monolithic part having a winding of fibers oriented and embedded in a matrix, and a tubular body, wherein an attachment point, based at one end of said tubular body takes the form of a strap forming a loop turning about an axis perpendicular to the axis of the tubular body, and wherein an internal wall and/or the external wall of the loop is designed to cooperate with a portion of the connector in tension and/or in compression along one or more directions.

Part made of a composite, its manufacturing process and connecting rod obtained by this process

The invention relates to an L-shaped fitting obtained after molding a composite material, including two portions defining an angle therebetween and having holes formed therein for connecting the two portions using an attachment device, and having side reinforcements in the form of brackets. At least one portion has a concave curved profile on the inner side of the fitting, and the hole(s), formed in the portion having a concave curved profile on the inner side are each formed along an axis radial to the curvature.

Composite L-shaped fitting and method and mould for the production thereof

A mechanical transmission device for transmitting a threshold force, comprising first and second elements rotatably mounted relative to each other about an axis of rotation, and having a transmitter member interposed between them to constrain the two elements to rotate together when a torque is imparted to one up to a threshold torque beyond which the two elements become movable in rotation. The transmitter member has a first friction disk constrained to rotate with the first element, and a second friction disk facing the first disk. It also has a bearing member that is axially movable to press the disks together and against a bearing turntable of the first element under drive from a presser member. Finally, it has a rotary drive, interposed between the bearing member and the second element, which are arranged to cause the bearing member to move axially against the presser member during rotation.

Mechanical device for the transmission of a force with a threshold

The fixing device for the assembly and quick release of objects includes a holding element that can be fixed to one of the objects to be held together, and a retaining device that can be fixed to another one of the objects to be held together and engage the holding element. The retaining device includes a plurality of separable parts that can be held closely together around the holding element by a disengageable pre-tensioning device. The separable parts are connected to each other by an elastically deformable mechanisms which stretch to in order to draw the parts located at a distance from each other together, while the pre-tensioning device includes a link wound around the parts in order to keep them closed on the holding element, at least one end of the link being fixed to a tensioning mechanism.
