A method and/or computer program product provide an event driven adaptive user interface. A high-level event is received from a high-level event generator. A determination is made as to whether the high-level event is of a registered event type according to a mapping to one or more registered possible action types, where the registered event type and registered possible action types include payload objects with mappings to one or more user interface controls. One or more user interface controls for the high-level event and for possible actions are displayed to a user for selection. The user selection is then processed for the high-level event to initiate zero or more actions.

Event driven adaptive user interface

A system and computer-implemented method for synthesizing multi-person speech into an aggregate voice is disclosed. The method may include crowd-sourcing a data message configured to include a textual passage. The method may include collecting, from a plurality of speakers, a set of vocal data for the textual passage. Additionally, the method may also include mapping a source voice profile to a subset of the set of vocal data to synthesize the aggregate voice.

Synthesizing an aggregate voice

A method of synchronization for use in a distributed data processing system comprising a legacy computer having means for storing a master version of data, an application server, and a thin client computer which stores a copy of the master version of data. Firstly, the thin client executes operations locally on the copy. The operations are sent in a list to the application server. The application server executes the operations on the master data, on behalf of the thin client. If the operations can be executed successfully on the master version, synchronization occurs in that the successful operations are applied to the master version.

Synchronizing data in a distributed data processing system

A computer implemented method presents a personalized multimedia message to a user. A text based message is received from a sender. Responsive to receiving the text based message, a sender profile is identified within a digital device host registry, the sender profile corresponding to the sender identifier. Responsive to identifying the sender profile within a digital device host registry, a set of corresponding personalized media channels associated with the sender profile is identified. The set of corresponding personalized media channels includes at least one of a voice profile, a static image, and lip synchronization data. The text based message is then augmented with the set of corresponding personalized media channels to create a multimedia message. The multimedia message comprises an audio file of the text message rendered by using the voice profile, a 'video' file of text message rendered by using the voice profile, and the static image with the lip synchronization data, or a combination thereof. The multimedia message is then presented to the user.

Method for presenting personalized, voice printed messages from online digital devices to hosted services

One embodiment provides a single, universally available, potentially unlimited web-based storage space by the use of RAID technology over multiple, heterogeneous web-based accounts. Such a solution has the following advantages: the storage capacity of the virtual data space can be dynamically sized by adding additional accounts; unauthorized access to one account will not result in access to the entire data set; the use of multiple servers provides the potential for faster access to data than via a single server e.g. when access to one service is slow; and the use of multiple servers provides better resilience for data access, e.g. when one account is unavailable. Redundant storage of data lowers the chance of the loss of access to one account leading to the loss of the entire data set.
