A disconnectable current tapping device is provided having clips engageable on onmibus bars and disengageable therefrom by translation of a clip carrying slide controlled by a rotary shaft, which is rotated by a plug which is mounted for translation on the shaft while being urged by a return spring, and which is subjected to the action of a control member such as an operating key. By an axial thrust exerted on the plug, a transmission piece provided with a spur in engagement in an annular groove formed in the plug, is drawn in translation so as to actuate a prebreak microcontact; at the end of rotation of the shaft controlling the disconnection, the piece is retained by a resilient retractable member, whereas the plug is returned only through a ramp provided at the edge of the groove so as to allow release of the spur.

A contact that has two fixed contact elements and a mobile contact bridge actuated by a switching assembly and is urged by a pole spring. The connection between the mobile contact bridge and switching assembly is provided by a magnetic compensator connected to the switching assembly by means of a magnetic coupling device adapted so that, when the compensating forces rise above a given threshold, the magnetic compensator is disengaged from the switching assembly and becomes inoperative.

This invention relates to a system for interconnecting pluggable logic modules, for example in industrial automation or process control systems. The modules incorporate flexible connecting members which enable them to be plugged directly onto the ends of a series of parallel metal pins which are arranged in a regular pattern on one or more insulating supports, the pins having conductive portions intermediate their ends which are accessible from the side of the supports to which the modules are plugged, the said conductive portions of the pins being standarized so as to allow conductors which interconnect the modules to be readily attached to said sections.

The present invention relates to a guidance system for the movable element of a contactor. The shaped sections constituting the walls have channels formed during the extrusion thereof wherein are located pivoting and elastic restoring members which guide the contact unit.

Electro-magnetic contactor

The present invention relates to a member for connecting a conductor to a pin. It comprises an insulating sleeve surrounding a prismatic metal casing within which a tongue defines two recesses for the pin and conductor respectively, whereby the securing of the latter results from the introduction of the former. The invention can be applied to cabling devices, notably those using systems of parallel pins.

The present invention relates to a small electromagnetic relay comprising three independent sub-assemblies serving to fulfill respectively the function of motor, contact and connecting base and which can be assembled together. The contact sub-assembly is formed by an arcing box having recesses serving to receive the contact supports held in place between the base and the motor. The relay according to the present invention is applicable to automation and control circuits.

The invention relates to electrical commutation apparatus of the kind having a fixed core, a coil, a movable armature constituting a motor, a frame including shaped engaging means placed perpendicularly to the movement of the armature to support a number of housings each containing fixed and movable elements of a contact, and a shaped body member for control of said contacts. The object is to provide improvements in dimensions, avoidance of vulnerability to dirt, and adequate rigidity without undue bulk. These are obtained in that the frame and the control member are each constituted by at least one portion of a prismatic body cut longitudinally and in that the shaped body comprises at least the engaging means for the housings and the surfaces for guiding movements of the armature.

Electrical apparatus

The invention relates to an arrangement for connecting electrical installations or equipment to chassis containing electrical apparatus. Connectors, identical to those used within the chassis, are located on the exterior side walls of the chassis, and cooperate with a series of detachable plugs which are slidably guided into aligned cooperation with the connectors by means of ribs on the side walls, and latchingly engage with the side walls to retain them electrically interconnected with the connectors. The height of each plug is a multiple of the pitch between the rows of connector pins of the connectors, thus enabling several plugs to be plugged, side-by-side, to the same connector.

The invention relates to a chassis intended to hold electronic modules which use printed circuit boards. The chassis includes upper and lower supports for the boards which have slide-ways to guide the boards, and also serve to align connectors and secure them to front and rear upper and lower cross-pieces of the chassis. The supports snap or latch onto the cross-pieces by means of mouths which are orientated at right-angles to one another. The chassis may be employed in industrial automation control systems.
