The invention relates to a needleless syringe (), comprising the following' successively: a gas generator, a gas expansion chamber (), a means for retaining particles of the active agent and a tube () for ejecting said particles. The main characteristic of the inventive syringe is that the gas generator is a pyrotechnic generator (), comprising a pyrotechnic charge () which generates gas, a gas generator and an initiation device. The invention is also characterized in that the retaining means comprise at least one lid (), which is fixed to the ejection tube and is configured to break under the influence of the gases generated by the combustion of said charge ().

Needleless syringe which functions with the active agent being driven by a shocktube effect

The invention concerns a needleless syringe () comprising a trigger, a gas generator () prolonged by a gas expansion chamber (), a system for retaining particles and an ejection tube (). The invention is characterised in that the particles are housed outside the ejection tube conduit () and the gases cause the particles to reach inside said tube () by displacing a plunger (), prior to speeding them up by wave shock inside the tube ().

Needleless syringe functioning by shock-tube effect, with prior lateral retention of the active principle

The invention relates to a needless syringe (), comprising in succession, a gas generator (), a gas expansion chamber () and a means for retaining the particles of an active agent, comprising at least one lid () which breaks under the influence of the gas coming from the generator (). The main characteristic of the inventive syringe () is that the tube () has a cylindrical upstream part in which the means retaining the particles are fixed, said upstream part having a substantially constant cross-section over a length that is more than twice its inner diameter.
