Regulator for precision control of pressure based on a means of measuring pressure differentials. More specifically, the present invention provides a pressure control that tracks a relatively high background pressure, and applies a positive or negative offset to create the small pressure differentials that can be utilized to transport fluids within a capillary network. The present invention is also directed to a method of controlling microfluidic elements (such as donut cavities) with a high degree of precision. In high performance liquid chromatography applications, this is accomplished using tracking pressure regulators to measure and respond to the difference between the liquid pump pressure and the regulated pneumatic pressure.

Programmable tracking pressure regulator for control of higher pressures in microfluidic circuits

An action board game in which each player tries to be first to respond correctly to command indicators activated in a random sequence and at indeterminate times. Players try to be first to use the correct hand to operate a control matching the command indicator. Various levels of play can be selected ranging from matching colors to the equivalent of simultaneously playing multiple games of ping-pong. Players can participate as individuals or as teams.

A footstool extension comprising a leg support assembly attachable to a footstool. In the preferred embodiment the leg support assembly comprises a platform, of a size and shape to correspond to the footstool to which it is attached and made of wood, plastic or other such material, with a pad or cushion covered with a suitable fabric, leather, plastic, or other covering attached to the top surface of the platform, and with the platform slideably mounted on one or more rails or runners bendably attachable to the footstool. A folding prop or brace is bendably attached to the rails allowing the leg support assembly to be folded out of the way when not in use. In other embodiments the pad or cushion is filled with a fluid or gel resulting in a more comfortable cushion that can be heated or cooled to provide some therapeutic value. An oscillator or vibrator can also be coupled to the gel filled cushion to gently massage the user's legs and/or feet.

Footstool extension providing leg support

An apparatus relating to a voltage divider having one or more Kelvin connection taps, including first and second spaced terminals and a current carrying resistor between the first and second terminals. A third terminal is spaced from the resistor and the resistor has at least one conductive but non-current-carrying peninsula extending from a junction on the side of the resistor and connecting with the third terminal to produce a Kelvin connection tap. A cut is made only in the non-current-carrying peninsula along the path having a component parallel to the side of the resistor from which the peninsula extends and shading the junction of said peninsula and the side from the third terminal, to adjust the interconnection of the third terminal with the resistor and vary the voltage output without varying the resistance of the resistor. An extension of this cut may be made parallel to the edge of the peninsula to further increase the adjustment.
