An assembly for a low voltage withdrawable switching device, comprising: a supporting frame into which/from which a switching unit of the withdrawable switching device can be inserted/withdrawn; a first connector placed at and protruding from a bottom portion of the supporting frame, which is adapted to be coupled with a second connector of the switching unit; and a shutter assembly. The shutter assembly comprises: an opening for allowing the coupling between the first and second connectors; a cover member which is adapted to be moved from a cover position to an open position so as to make the opening accessible for the coupling between the first and second connectors. The cover member is adapted to be moved from the cover position to the open position by the first connector. The shutter assembly is operatively mounted movable into the supporting frame. The shutter assembly is adapted to operatively interact with the switching unit under insertion into the supporting frame so as to be moved towards the bottom portion for causing the movement of the cover member from the cover to the open position by the first connector.

Assembly for a withdrawable switching device and related switching device

An exemplary switching device for an electric circuit, including at least one contact movable between a closed position in which it is coupled to a corresponding fixed contact and an open position in which it is spaced away from said corresponding fixed contact. A main shaft suitable for rotating about an axis and operatively connected to said at least one movable contact so as to cause with its rotation the movement of said at least one movable contact between the open and closed positions. The switching device includes a locking device which has one or more parts coupled to and which is configured for directly acting on the main rotating shaft and locking said at least one movable contact in the open position.

Switching device and related power distribution system

Exemplary embodiments are directed to a switching device for an electric circuit including at least one contact movable between a closed position in which it is coupled to a corresponding fixed contact and an open position in which it is spaced away from said corresponding fixed contact. The switching device including at least one locking device configured for being actuated between a rest configuration in which said at least one movable contact is free to move and an operative configuration in which it locks said at least one movable contact in the open position. The locking device is configured for outputting one or more electrical signals which are indicative of at least one of the rest configuration, the operative configuration, and an under actuation condition wherein the locking device itself is moving between said rest and operative configurations.

Switching system and locking device with a status indicator

The present invention relates to a single-pole or multi-pole switch to be used preferably in low-voltage systems. The switch () comprises an outer casing () containing for each pole at least one fixed contact () and one mobile contact () that can be coupled to/uncoupled from one another. The mobile contacts () are housed in appropriate seats () provided on a mobile element (). The switch () moreover comprises an energy-accumulation control mechanism (), operatively connected to the mobile element () to enable its movement. The switch () according to the invention is advantageously provided with means of axial support operatively connected to the mobile element () in order to support the gravitational thrusts that are generated along the axis of rotation of the mobile element itself when said axis is inclined with respect to a substantially horizontal plane.
