There is disclosed a method of operating a terminal () in a wireless communication network, the method comprising receiving and/or transmitting according to a transmission time interval, TTI, configuration, the TTI configuration indicating at least one short transmitting time interval having between one or two and seven symbols of duration in a subframe. There are also disclosed related methods and devices.

Short TTI patterns

The disclosure relates to signalling of transmissions with shortened TTI. The disclosure further relates to an RBS and a method performed at the RBS of scheduling resources for a wireless communication device. The disclosure still further relates to a wireless communication device and a method performed at the wireless communication device of being granted data transmission or data reception. In a first aspect of the disclosure, a method performed at an RBS is provided for scheduling resources for a wireless communication device including indicating a grant of a resource for the wireless communication device to transmit or receive data based on DCI and a position of the DCI within a data frame of a downlink control channel.

Signaling of transmissions with shortened TTI

Embodiments described herein provide methods and apparatus for transmitting at least one data stream comprising a plurality of samples between a first wireless device and a second wireless device using machine-to-machine communication. A method in the first wireless device comprises receiving the at least one data stream; generating a first data packet comprising N of the plurality of samples, wherein N is an integer value of greater than or equal to 2; and transmitting the first data packet to the second wireless device.

Method for bundling sampling data for wireless transmission

A method in a wireless device is disclosed. The wireless device receives an uplink grant from a network node, the uplink grant scheduling one or more uplink transmissions by the wireless device. The wireless device selects an ON/OFF time mask to use for transmitting the one or more uplink transmissions. The wireless device determines, based on the received uplink grant, an allowed placement of a transient period of the selected ON/OFF time mask and a duration of the transient period to use for the one or more uplink transmissions.

Methods and apparatuses for determining a placement and duration of a transient period of an on/off time mask for uplink transmission

A method performed in an entity for transmitting in a communications system. Method and entity for transmitting in a communications system

It is presented a method performed by a network node of a wireless communication network for scheduling a wireless device in uplink. An uplink signal structure is configured to be used by the wireless device and the network node, wherein the uplink signal structure defines transmission subframes divided into symbol periods. The network node applies a short Transmission Time Interval, sTTI, scheduling interval, wherein each sTTI is shorter in time than a subframe and each sTTI comprises at least one symbol period. The method comprises: transmitting a control information message to the wireless device for an sTTI scheduling interval, the control information message comprising uplink scheduling information assigned to the wireless device, the uplink scheduling information indicating a position and a length for at least one of a reference signal and data in the uplink sTTI.

Methods and apparatus for scheduling in uplink

A wireless device, network node and methods using new radio time division duplex, NR-TDD, are provided. In one embodiment, the network node includes processing circuitry configured to configure placement of downlink control messages over at least two symbols of a NR TDD slot. A network node can transmit a scheduling request configuration message indicating PUCCH resources, including a periodicity parameter being less than the PUCCH length. System and methods for configuring user equipments with overlapping PUCCH resources for transmitting scheduling requests

A terminal device for a wireless communication network is configurable with a plurality of transmission time intervals. An example method comprises: receiving a grant message comprising an indication of radio resources in which the terminal device can transmit one or more wireless messages, the radio resources being configured according to a first transmission time interval of the plurality of transmission time intervals; determining the presence of data to transmit, the data being associated with a logical channel; determining a maximum transmission time interval associated with the logical channel; and, responsive to a determination that the maximum transmission time interval associated with the logical channel is less than the first transmission time interval, transmitting a scheduling request message. Methods and apparatus for utilizing short transmission time intervals in a wireless communications network

Example techniques for data retransmission in systems that do not utilize explicit hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback are presented, including an example method by a wireless device that includes starting a timer for a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process associated with a transport block (TB) transmission by the wireless device to the network node. The method includes identifying a HARQ policy for the HARQ process, the HARQ policy governing whether the wireless device is to retransmit the TB or transmit a new TB where no HARQ feedback responsive to the TB transmission is received from the network node before the timer expires. Furthermore, the method includes retransmitting the TB or transmitting the new TB according to the HARQ policy at a next periodic transmission occasion for the HARQ process after the timer expires. Methods at a network node and related apparatuses and computer programs are also presented.

Methods of retransmission in semi-persistent scheduling without explicit HARQ feedback

Systems, methods, and apparatus for communicating transport block repetitions are disclosed. An example method performed by a wireless device includes receiving an assignment of radio resources corresponding to two or more transmissions with first start and length pairs, each transmission comprising a transport block repetition, where at least one of the first start and length pairs violates a time-domain allocation restriction. The wireless device determines second start and length pairs for the two or more transmissions such that the time-domain allocation restriction is not violated. The wireless device transmits the two or more transmissions according to the determined second start and length pairs.

According to an aspect, a transmitting device determines, for each of a plurality of transmissions, whether user data to be transmitted within a time transmission interval, TTT, will be closest in time to a DMRS transmitted before the user data or after the user data. If before the user data, all HARQ ACK/NACK data for the transmission is mapped to the earliest in time SC-FDMA symbol carrying user data in the transmission, and to pre-DFT symbols closest in time to the DMRS transmitted before the user data. If after the user data, all HARQ ACK/NACK data for the transmission is mapped to the last in time SC-FDMA symbol carrying user data in the transmission, and to pre-DFT symbols closest in time to the DMRS transmitted after the user data. SC-FDMA signals are formed from user data and control information for the transmission, based on the mapping.

Uplink control signaling on PUSCH with shortened transmission time interval (TTI)

According to certain embodiments, a method for synchronous control of timing configurations includes operating a wireless device according to a first timing configuration associated with a first delay duration for transmitting feedback to a network node. A second timing configuration associated with a second delay duration for transmitting feedback to the network node is received from the network node. The second delay duration is different from the first delay duration. In response to a first downlink transmission from the network node, a first feedback is scheduled for transmission at a transmission time determined based on the second delay duration associated with the second timing configuration.

Systems and methods for synchronous control of HARQ configurations

According to certain embodiments, a method is disclosed for use in a wireless device being affected by pre-emption. The method comprises receiving information from a network node and performing one or more operations based on the received information. The information indicates a portion of a buffer that is affected by pre-emption. Examples of operations that can be performed based on the received information include flushing the portion of the buffer affected by pre-emption or separately handling the portion of the buffer affected by pre-emption.
