Process for conditioning texturized filament yarns, which comprises treating the yarn, after dyeing, with a fatty acid hydroxyalkylethylene diamine condensation product obtained by condensation of 1 mol of hydroxyethyl- or hydroxypropylethylene diamine with 1.2 to 1.8 mols of one or several C.sub.12-22 fatty acids at 160.degree. to 220.degree. C.

Conditioning of texturized filament yarns

A process for the conditioning of synthetic fibers, which comprises applying onto these fibers mixtures of alkane-phosphonic acid salts and alkane-phosphonic acid-semi-ester salts in a molar ratio of from 19:1 to 5:1.

Heat-resistant fiber conditioning agents

A process for the manufacture of synthetic staple fibers having a marked separating capability by preparing the synthetic fibers with fatty acid-amine-condensation products, which comprises preparing or conditioning the fibers, prior to the textile spinning processes, with fatty acid-hydroxy-alkyl-ethylene-diamine condensation products, the hydroxyalkyl radical or which shows 2 or 3 carbon atoms, and 1 to 2 identical or different radicals of saturated fatty acids having from 14 to 18 carbon atoms are present per mole of hydroxy-alkyl-ethylene-diamine.

Fiber preparation agents to produce a marked separating capability

Conditioning systems for polyester fibers consisting of from 40 - 60% by weight of a lubricating agent and from 60 to 40% by weight of an emulsifying mixture, the total conditioning system showing a loss by evaporation of less than 5% by weight at 220.degree. C within 1 hour, a viscosity of less than 200 cP (20.degree. C), and in dilution with water in the ratio of 2:1, 1:1 and 1:2, a viscosity of less than 150 cP, less than 500 cP and less than 250 cP (60.degree. C), respectively. These compositions are applied onto the fibers by known methods. They impart especially good sliding properties to the polyester fibers during texturizing.

Conditioning agents for the texturizing of polyester fibers

Peralkylated reaction products of .alpha.-olefin oxides of 8 to 18 carbon atoms with lower alkylene-diamines, dialkylene-triamines or trialkylene-tetramines are fiber lubricants which are capable of rendering the fibers antistatic.

Preparation for the antistatic finishing of fibers

Peralkylated propylenediamines having one long-chain alkyl or alkenyl group are antistatic agents for fibers.
