The present invention is related to a retarding device for a hand held cutting machine having a housing () and a drive engine, which drives a transmission including a number of transmission members () and driving a rotational or semi rotational cutting tool. The retarding device includes brake means () arranged to be in close relation with the transmission and for actuating a retarding force on a transmission member (), the brake means being arranged to automatically put a retarding force on said transmission member when the speed of rotation or the torque of rotation of said transmission member falls below a predetermined value.

Retarding device for a handheld cutting machine

The present invention relates to a carburetor of an internal combustion engine having a manually activated start position. The carburetor includes at least a choke valve and a throttle valve both located in the carburetor's main air passage which are able to move between an open and a closed position, each valve having at least one respective lever that cooperates during the manual activation to give at least one start position of the choke and throttle valves. The carburetor further usually includes at least one thermally responsive member arranged to affect the start position. Further a handle is arranged to provide a two stage draw&#x2014;lift motion to attain the start position.

This invention relates to a device for a pole saw for pruning trees or bushes. The pole saw comprises an elongated stiff tube extending from a drive unit to a remote chain saw head () and incorporates a drive shaft () connected to an input shaft () of a gear () arranged in the chain saw head (). The gear is provided with an output shaft () on which a sprocket wheel () for driving a saw chain is arranged. A mass body vibration damper () is arranged between the gear () and the sprocket wheel ().

Leaf blower that is carried on the back of the operator comprising at least an engine () and a fan. The fan is provided with an air inlet () placed on the side of the fan that is facing away from the back of the operator. The air stream is passing the engine () on its way to the air inlet () so that the engine () is cooled.

Conventional leaf blowers have a supporting frame to where the different components are attached. In order to reduce the noise from the tool and protect some of the components are they provided with covers. This makes the tool heavy and complicated for the operator to use. The claimed invention is a covering casing () that also is the supporting structure for the different components in the tool. The casing reduces the amount of noise spread from the tool and protects the components inside the casing ().
