A positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heater apparatus is provided and includes a PTC heater and a health monitoring unit. The PTC heater includes resistive elements arranged in balanced groups of a bridge formation. Each of the balanced groups is arranged in a corresponding one of the arms of the bridge formation. The health monitoring unit is electrically connected to the resistive elements. The health monitoring unit is configured to determine a fault condition of the PTC heater based on a fractional change of resistance of the bridge formation caused by a failure of any one or more of the resistive elements in any of the balanced groups of the arms of the bridge formation.

Positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heater health monitoring system

A flush valve includes a housing having a first end and a second end, a piston stem extending between the first end and the second end, a piston stem fore end coupled to the piston stem, a first O-ring and a second O-ring defining a control chamber therebetween, and a solenoid valve in fluid communication with the control chamber. The piston stem fore end is positioned toward the second end when in a closed position. In an energized state, the solenoid valve charges a pressurized gas into the control chamber, pushing the piston stem toward the first end and into an open position.

The flexible heated hose assembly including: an inner fluid tube enclosing a fluid passageway, the inner fluid tube having tubular shape; a first silicone liner located radially outward from the inner fluid tube; and a printed positive temperature co-efficient (PTC) heater located radially outward from the first silicone liner.
